HELP!!!! Anyone 's tumors not accepting Taxol/Taxatere????

    I just got my scans back and my tumors are growing a bit and the Taxatere/Carboplatin is not working....Any suggestions????

    My tumors also grow while doing dose dense ACT all together.  I was move to Avastan & Gemzar with carboplatinum with good results.

    Other will be along with their experiences.

    I took abraxane (nab paclitaxel) and avastin. At first it reduced tumor load and markers went down to near normal. Then, the markers started climbing and scans confirmed disease progression. There are lots of other single and double agent combos that can be used if taxol isn't working.
