Welcome. Sorry I am a tad slow on a response. So sorry to hear about your Mom, and from what I hear, it's involvement of the spine too.



How can we help you? Let me ask, is she going to get radiation to her spine to treat the cancer?

Has she had xrays or CT scan of the bottom of the spine to make sure the spinal cord is not being compressed, hence she doesn't move her legs much? Can she control her urination and bowels? Have her doctors looked at her brain with a CT?



Where is your Mom getting treatment, Silva? Does she have good doctors in your opinion, or do you need to consider moving her to the university near you?



Is her breast cancer sensitive to hormones? Do you know if she carries the HER2 in her tumor?



Can you and your siblings and aunts and uncles work together on a plan? Is there a cancer center near you that helps with social issues, like applications for financial coverage?



How old are you Silva? I ask because perhaps you are so young, and will need help yourself, provided by caring aunts, friends and the local cancer center as you work to help your Mom. What a loving daughter you are.
