    Hello ladies...been a few months since I've posted...tough months...bone mets has decided to take a trip...right on to my liver...been on different chemo for a few months...doing pretty well...thanking the Lord big time that I'm still here and able to function really well...anyway, read lots of posts and just wanted to reiterate how the Lord works in mysterious ways....I am usually the type to encourage others with words, gestures, cards, etc...and was feeling pretty down myself a few months ago (DUH, due to new diagnosis)...and lo and behold one day there was a package put on my doorstep...from the lady across the street...her husband is a pastor and we were friendly enough to say hello but not much more (definitely no personal history shared previously)......turns out she is newly diagnosed with bc recurrance after 17 years...anyway...we have formed a close bond...she is an encouragement to me in many ways and I thank the good Lord for that surprise at "just the right time" in my life.   He knew we would need each other.  Her wisdom and life's experiences are an added blessing in my life.  Just wanted to share that.

    Hello ladies...and any gentlemen reading these posts...been a rocky time for us...but the news seems to be good for now...liver mets is stable...no other signs of mets except in the bones and I've been living very well with that for over 2 years.  We will be revisiting many issues in May...my request to wait that long as hubby and I are planning a driving vacation to the Outer Banks of NC in May and don't want to spoil that...will deal with harsh realities when we get back, hopefully with full armor on and ready to do battle.  Your prayers and support have lifted me up.  I am humbly thankful.

    I thought this picture might give you some upbeat encouragement. I took it last month, while we were on our hiatus at the shore (southern FL.)

    I'm giving credit to the angels for the cross within the sunshine, as I have no other explaination.
