LIFE'S A BEACH!

I have been sitting by the fireside all evening trying to stay warm. Just glad I had nowhere to go tonight so I could stay home and stay warm. DD#1 says that the weather there in Japan is just like it is here in North Carolina! Great now I have to pack for both warm and cold weather and I was so hoping to manage with just one suitcase!

I thought I was over this bloomin' cold.  But no - it came back on me, and I've been coughing again for the last few days.  Hubby wants me to call the GP - I'm sick of doctors and just want to get better without wasting my time (or the doctors).  I actually think the reason I got worse was that on Sunday we went to Hoods Canal (an inlet up here in Washington).  It seemed like everyone was burning yard scraps and I couldn't get away from the smoke.  I think the smoke really screwed up my lungs again.  It was nice sitting by the water - but not nice breathing the "air"

Gardengumby, There seems to be a lot of pneumonia around. If it doesn't clear up in a day or two, I advise seeing the GP and making sure it isn't pneumonia. I'm sure the smoke didn't help anything.

aaahhhhhh - to lie on a warm sandy beach - is there anything better?

Lisa - I am feeling better - taking my antibiotics religiously but still not all the back to where I should be.  Ocean air (if warm would surely help.

OMG, I can feel the warmth too.  And believe me with the weather today it takes a good image (Lisa's above) and a lot of imagination to feel warmth.

I just can't wait till I'm posting "real time" pics of my fav place. For now, while I wait for spring to really come to the northeast, I'll be happy with memories like this one from last year   This is the bay at our campground...Delaware Bay for those interested in geography!

All of the pics are beautiful.  I am sitting here drinking coffee and the sky is getting darker and darker, expecting rain today. Boy do I wish spring would arrive in the east.
