Barbe - barb is not working with the same people, this is a different company with different clients. They just do the customization on the same software as the other company. She is really excited about this new group.
Lisa - Love all the pics when you get to go to the shore.

ellisimo: thanx for letting us know about barb A.. i'm soo glad she finally got a new one!!!3jays

Lisa, I'm SO envious of your sunny weather all year!! We've had a cloudy fall and that makes it depressing. I haven't been out for a walk in a month!! At least... When the sun does shine, everyone comes out from under their rocks and the streets are full of people trying to get in some Vitamin D!!
-
Bar be, I have difficulty with no sun also. That is why we chose to retire right here.It is funny because we drove to the Northwest US coast for a month, and we left after three weeks and drove to home and the sun. The minute we crossed the California state line the sun was shining brightly and lasted. We have lived all over the map and we liked it here the best.

Today my beaches are stormy & drenched with tears! Just after I came here 4 years ago a dear parishioner from our church was diagnosed with this beast! She had to have Chemo before her surgery because the cancer was so great. She then had a double mastectomy as she had 2 different kinds of BC one in each breast. So as the 4 years have past since her DX with many bumps in the road, but always seeming to dance with NED when these bumps appeared! Well she just found out that her bumps have turned into a Road Block as she has been having ever increasing unending pain in her abdomen for several months. The test all were coming back NED until 2 days ago they came back Ovarian Cancer! On Monday she goes in for surgery to find the extent of the Beast! So today my beaches are very stormy as I must release this great storm of grief out so that I may help her through this next fight as she helped me so wonderfully through mine! This time around I have profound fear for I'm sure the Beast will win her body in the War.... but I know NEVER her spirit!!!!

Beachie Babes.
Remember me? It's been months. Literally months since I've been to BCO. I totally forgot my sign in and nearly had a tizzy! On a day of Thanksgiving I knew I needed to find a minute to get myself back to my roots.
It looks like lots of our beachie babes are still splashing together, which warms my heart.
I don't even remember how to upload pictures. Wowzers.
Please know that each and every one of you holds a special place in my heart.
Today on my blog I put up an 'article' of some of my favorite photos of the last year. If you need a hug or a little encouragement please see if you can wander over there and enjoy the sights.

Strength and courage.

BEAUTIFUL pictures Chabba. I don't know how I managed to miss this thread for so long.... but now it's one of my favorites...
We're leaving for Hawaii in 2 weeks and I am SOOOOO excited, I can hardly contain myself - as a result I keep making stupid mistakes about things, so now I'm trying just to keep clam (as Ivar used to say....
for all you old tyme Northwest Ladies who know who and what I'm talking about)...
-
gumby, Ivars is one chain of restaurants that never dissapointed when he was at the helm and his philanthropic spirit touched almost everyone in the Northwest.
-
'zactly. I, too, am an old tyme NorthWest lady....
