-
Marlegal - grand children are so much fun. We just got back last evening from seeing 3 of ours and I already miss them so much. Hopefully they will be moving this way soon. Here's hoping with you that they are in your future too.
-
Speaking of cutie grand-daughters in swimming pools, I offer you this evidence for why we work so hard to live thru our teen-age children's lives:
Is she a diva-in-the-making, or what?
I fly out on Sunday to run the show there with our 3 cuties for the week.... da mommy & daddy are going to FL for the destination wedding of one of their dear friends.
Being there for a day or two is one thing...... to be in charge for a week ON MY OWN is a whole 'nother concept. Start the prayers running!
-
Oh, Faith, you will be feeling OLD in no time, I fear....
-
Faith you will have a blast! How cute she is.

Well ladies 3 more days to DD's wedding.I have been quite sick with a nast chest virus but am much better now.DH caught it too just hope it avoids the bride and groom Today I will concentrate on the patio furniture and the backyard pool. Sunday after the wedding I will throw a big barbecue for all the outof town relatives.Wish me luck I am out of practise at entertaining big crowds. Pictures of your grandchildren are wonderful can't wait to have some of my own in a few years.
My husband invited a couple from Montreal to the wedding to meet me.His wife has stage 4 breast cancer but after treatment in the Duke Instittue in SC is now NED. The lessions in her liver,Brain and bones are gone. The doctors here are dumbfounded at the results. she was given Carbo Platin Gemicitabine infusions. When I talk to her this weekend I will get more details including the type of cancer she has.
Hope everyone has as good a weekend as I am going to have..Will be in touch when the house guests leave and don't worry My DH has 3 photographer friends snapping shots everywhere. My daughter says she is going to feel like a movie star.
-
Mumayan I am sure you will have a fantastic day, Faith you will do great, no grandchildren but get to spend time with a wonderful young lady who is now 11. She loves the garden and cooking. Her Mom says that is my doing and she loves to come over so we can try new things. Last night we had lemon balm tea picked from the garden and made lime cream cheese spread to put in graham crackers!! Will post flower pics this weekend.

Just stopping by to check in on what all is going on. I am off to bed as it has been a very busy day and I am exhausted. I'll post more tomorrow. Night ladies.
-
amyjo, you have alot on your plate, please rest
-
Lisa, I am really trying to rest, but someday between the emails, phone call and letters from attorneys and bankers I don't get much time to even think about resting until H gets home and fixes dinner then sends me to bed. I will be so glad when all of this estate stuff is settled. Thanks for caring about me. Some days I just check in to read what is going on and to see if you have posted any new pictures. I have been trying to take some closeup pictures of the flowers and birds around my yard, but they never turn out a pretty as yours. Well, I better get back to work, or no I think I will go take a nap now that I have stopped working for a few minutes. Take care my friend.
-
Amyjo, I am just lucky my neighbor has some nice roses..
some days my brain feels like mush even now...sending hugs
and the sweet smells
-
SoCal, I could really smell those roses... Amazing!
-
We all learn from Lisa's photos!
And Mum's DH's artistic amazing birds-in-flight.
Just popping through -- attempting to learn/network/figure-out LinkedIN (kinda like Facebook but for the business world.)
Sending love all around.
-
Mum. Can't wait to see some of the wedding photos.
I bet this will be one of the best documented weddings in history!!!!
Are the coconuts invited?
-
Lisa, thanks for the beautiful roses. I love the orange ones, they are so cheery. had a good nap but now it is bed time so I am off to get a good nights rest.
-
Where is everyone? I plan to post a sunset pic from my dinner cruise tonight so maybe that will wake everyone up,
-
Just need some get away time....
-
-
Waiting for the sunset pix Barbara
this is in our front yard..
-
Barb - waiting for the sunset picture.
samsue - love the get away time pictures, nice to just look at and think of nothing in particular.
Lisa - See your yard does have some very pretty flowers. This one is lovely.
I have managed to sleep almost all day. Everytime I would get up and do the least little thing I would get so exhausted I had to go back to bed. I finally got up at 6:21 p.m. and DH grilled some pork chops and I think I am finally awake and now it is time to go to bed! I guess I will see if I can go to sleep and if not then I will try to finish the taxes that I did not get done during the day today.
-
Amyjo, but my neighbors is better!

On Wed there was record breaking high of 93 degrees around here. Then Thurs it was 45!!!!
