and the flowers are gloreous
-
aahhhhh Lisa.....I can just SMELL that flower now
We're thinking we might need to visit Southern Cal next month to celebrate DD's graduation.
-
that is a good plan, coonie...you need to include San Diego and we can
get together...we will be gone the first couple of weeks in May, but should
be home after that...

Finally caught up. Mumayan -- your Costa Rica pics are beautiful. And Lisa -- always beautiful. gee, I had to go back 4 pages to find a hot bod. Been collecting Caribbean and Island magazines, trying to decide where to go. A mini-trip in the fall and saving up for a big trip to the South Pacific. All I want is a sandy beach, warm water and excellent snorkling.
-
Elizabeth two suggestions. Hawaii is wonderful for all three requirements but a bit expensive. Thailand on the other hand especially the coastal areas like Phukette is very affordable. My niece just got back from Thailand she was back packing and staying in Hostels something I have never tried but she had a great time.Even did a yoga retreat there for a week. For the Caribbean I recomend cuba. We keep on going back we love it.
Here is another beach view from Costa Rica.

The pictures are incredible as always.
Just a taste test to get me out the door and onto the next airplane.
I must say the red rose is superlative, Lisa.
All of Mum's beaches are so real I feel as I've walked along.
Headed home to OH -- where we will be celebrating the birthday of all 3 grands.
WonderBoy is now 4 and the twins will be 2 in a heart-beat.
Earth day here we come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just got home from doctor's office, CT scan shows no progression in my liver disease so this is a good thing...
Stopped by a rose garden on the way home

Beautiful, glad you got good news today Lisa!!

LISA: HIPPPPHIPPPPPHIPPPPPPHOOOOOOOORAAAAAAAAYYYY
still thinking good thoughts for everyone else awaiting news.
we flew in from Baltimore yesterday, had an all-day event at my 'original' school for the children with special needs today (12 classes) i slept in my car at lunch time. LOL. seriously!
got home took a cat-nap. DH unpacked & totally repacked the whole car, with a new load of 'gear' for tomorrow morning's departure for Chicago. i plan to sleep the entire way!!
i have presenting two 'shows' for a dear friends library in the morning & then a two hour evening workshop that has been sold-out. WHEW.
this all sounded sorta reasonable about 8 or 10 months ago. geeeeeesh. then it's back home for the triple walloping big time birthday party for the 3 grand-peepers.
beachie kids. today was Monday. i ALWAYS called saint on Mondays. at lunch time i got my phone out and started to connect to hers -- when it hit me all over again. so i cried for a while and then took my nap. i had originally planned to go from Chicago on up to her house. so this is a double whammie of missing her like crazy. it's on my google-calendar to be at her house on Thurs. she told me that she wouldn't be able to 'hang-in' there that long, but it was her "something to look forward to" date. now i'm rambling.
just wanted to let you all know how much you mean to me.

Wonderful News Lisa.
Good Morning Beachettes.
I have been enjoying your real life pictures.
Flowers are beautiful, Beach sceneries are calming.
I decided until I learn how to post a picture from mt own camera, I wont be goggling anymore.
MUM....forgive me for this question since I'm not fully awake yet.
Does your last picture meant that you want to jump in the water or hide your head for a while.
HUGS to Everyone.
Sheila
