(((((Beachies)))))
I've been under the weather the last few days. Went to doc yesterday and have me a good ole case of bronchitis.......yuck! Got meds and feel so much better today!! Even working today!
(((((((((((Faithie))))))))))) I'm so proud you were able to wash your own hair!! That IS a great accomplishment. Ohhhhh I do hope you get those drains removed today. You'll feel less bogged down. Can you believe it's already been a week?? I'm so proud of you!!! I pray for you at least every hour!! You're my super-hero! My dynamic diva!
OK a little heads up...........SOMEBODY has a birthday tomorrow! I think we should start early....our sweetness beach sister Sharon has her big day tomorrow. I bonded with Sharon about one year ago right here on the beach!! We seemed to "click" with our humor
She never fails to give me encouragement and just a big ole hug from waaaaay up north to waaaaay down south. I love you sweet sistah! And I hope your birthday is just wondermous and you have many many more!!!
P.S. I'm at work, so I can't post any pics until I get home. But I'm planning to make you a big ole birthday cake
Wishing all you beachies a wondermous Thursday!
-
PARTY PARTY PARTY PARTY!!!!!
I will go fishing for appropriate birthday shinanigans, next.
I want you to all exhale.
My drains (total of 2) were removed this morning.
My staples (somewhere in the vicinity of 50, we lost count) were also removed.
Surgeon was totally totally "pleased" with his handiwork.
I am on cloud NINE!!
Now to go find some Sharon-Love!!
-
Faithie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wooooohooooooot!!!!
So very glad you got those things out!! Wowzers - 50 staples??? Did it hurt? I didn't know they used staples. I had steristrips (sp)...I think that's what they're called! Ohhhhh anyway I'm so happy for you!!! Time to let the party begin!!! While I'm at work........LOL
-
And away goes trouble, down the drain! Yippee for, Faith, yet another milestone she has conquered!
-
Meece. Go over to my 'fingers crossed' thread, cuz I said something nice to you there.
And I certainly don't want to be nice to you twice in 10 minutes. LOL
I'm fading fast.
-
See, you can still put a smil eon my face when you are worn out.
-
This isn't exactly an appropriate happy birthday picture.
I promise to find some of those when I get a wave of energy.
This is the picture that I took last summer, that is in my FB album of biking-for-the-CURE, which I specifically took for Sharon and Barbe and Mum and our other Canadian friends...... and now Barbe's an official beachie-babe..... but this is for Sharon this afternoon, cuz I don't even know if she was ever really on FB last summer when I posted it and it's the first thing that I thought of in thinking of how much I love Sharon.
She is our loving dearest. And sometimes we overwhelm her because she loves us tooooo much and then she worries about us and then she has to call and then she gets that bill and then she thinks we've got to grow up and be big girls or else move to her block so that it's not long distance to talk and be buddies. So she has to take a break, but then she misses us and we make her come back because we throw fun parties.
-
I'm very curious to see if this picture will 'stick' to the page.
I'm also curious to see how quickly this cake might be tasted before Sharon even arrives.
I can be excused for such a lapse of judgement, because I had to see my surgeon today and he does not look a thing like this gentleman. With or without cake.
edited for grammar....... seriously!!
edited again, because someone came and took my very scantily clad muscle builder man, with the very small cake placed strategically. dang inactive photo-bucket nonsense. why do they tempt us and then snatch up the goodies????
-
This on the other hand, looks like a great big cake on a beach.
You may choose from the little cake or the big cake.
-
LOL....what a cake!!! Ya know? It kinda has the same colors as #32!!!
-
Walking the beach and stopped in to tell Lisa, the pictures are beautiful,
Coonie, get to feeling better soon, big hugs
Faith, so glad those drains are out and the staples, may you heal fast and be back to your active life as soon as possible. there will be up days and down days but we are here for you
Sharon, HAPPY BIRTHDAY~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Hope it is a great one.
Hi to all beachettes
-
Beachie-people.....
I interrupt the getting organized of the birthday party for a special request.
Saint has gotten some 'big' news today & she's in need of an out-pouring of love.
Anyone that is willing to visit either or both of her threads tonight, tomorrow morning, would be such a blessing.
I want there to be an abundance of love for me to read to her tomorrow.
Thanks loves.
xx00xx00xx00xx
-
Awhh thanks Spar! Sure hope you're feeling better soon too.
I think I'm going in the right direction now:)
Just went to the Saint thread and gave her some love.
I guess the birthday girl won't start celebrating until tomorrow.
Sweet dreams on your birthday eve snookums!!

Calling all you angels
I need a sign to let me know you're here
All of these lines are being crossed over the atmosphere
I need to know that things are gonna look up
'Cause I feel us drowning in a sea spilled from a cup
When there is no place safe and no safe place to put my head
When you feel the world shake from the words that are said
[Chorus:]
And I'm calling all angels
I'm calling all you angels
I won't give up if you dont give up [Reapeat x4]
I need a sign to let me know you're here
'Cause my TV set just keeps it all from being clear
I want a reason for the way things have to be
I need a hand to help build up some kind of hope inside of me
[Chorus]
When children have to play inside so they don't disappear
And private eyes solve marriage lies cause we don't talk for years
And futbol teams are kissing Queens
and losing sight of having dreams
In a world that what we want is only what we want until it's ours
[Chorus x2]
Calling all you angels [Repeat till fade] -
-
Happy Birthday Eve Sharon. We are just starting.
