I was not well behaved today.
For whatever reason they had me wait over an hour and a half to even go back to the 'testing' area. I pointed that fact out at the one hour waiting mark.
Was told I'd be next.
Over 30 minutes later.
By the time they took my blood pressure I was ready to blow a gasket. This is the new & improved hospital. My first impression is tainted to say the least.
So after I had a mini-tizzie she asked me to wait........ she then came back with a $3.00 gift card for the cafeteria. I seriously laughed out loud, just as soon as she walked out of the room.
Yes. I am now flopping dramatically, back and forth, with more regularity from calm to melt-down mode. I have called my doctor for pharmacalogical intervention.
The doctor doing the exam looked at me with a serious expression on her face and asked if I had been suffering from anxiety for a long time? As I had not indicated so on their questionaire. That too made me laugh (I kept that internal, cuz I thought she might lock me up.)
I was able to calmly respond that the anxiety began with my second cancer dx, earlier this week and the scheduling of the removal of my breasts.
She made a knowing nod..... and tapped her clipboard.
Ahhhh.
I am certain that they have put a great big, ENORMOUS red flag by my name: basket case extra-ordinaire. Handle with caution.
Then each and every nurse/tech that came thru a la parade made a comment about how the drive home was going to be a nightmere.
I am proud of myself for not resorting to physical violence.
I am supposed to have one more school/all-day/kindergarten visit tomorrow...... which also happens to be across town. I am hoping that they call a snow day. It will take me two hours to get there as well.
It does seem that I am "better" when I am singing & dancing. So I'll leave the weather in heaven's hands & let them make the call.
Columbus, Ohio. You'd think that no one had ever seen a snow flake before.
ARgggghghghghghgh.
Surely someone has a drink with an umbrella in it?
-
((((((((((((((((Faithie))))))))))))))))))))
Edit: TO ADD ANOTHER PICTURE!!!
and for this pic to stick.........LOL
-
Try to relax
-
Great Big Hugs to you Faithandfifty aka Debbie♥
-
My purple puff ball avatar says, "May a thousand fleas infest the crotch of the next person who messes up your day and may their arms be too short to scratch.!"
-
LOL Deborye!!
And to that I say....Amen!
-
Faith, may I first curse like a sailor (no offence to any sailors here) and then offer you a great big old hug?
-
Edit to delete........bleep bleep bleep.......
-
LOL, sorry if I cursed twice
-
You are my port in the storm.
I will be forever grateful.
I am making a memo to myself, to remember to repay my debt of gratitude, by holding up those who join our club in the future.
