Christmas from Hawaii
-
Seriously..... I'm willing to go there: Hawaii -- that is.
And our EWB (Elaine) is headed there, pretty soon.
Mum??? Where are you with latest beach pictures???
I am hoping that you got all sorts of shots for us.
What is everyone up to today???
I plan to sit here in my robe for the next four hours or so..... well maybe get a shower around noon if I get motivated. LOL.
Yesterday was a BIG day. Today is a 'recover' and appreciate solitude day.
See. I'm learning about balance.
I'm pretending this is the view out my window.
-
good girl Faith! I am also in jammies, might change into clean jammies later, after a hot soak in the tub
Yup, heading to Maui at the end of January... already planning my suitcase(s).
Seyla - where in NY are you?
-
Hi ladies just got back from Mexico had a wonderful time but would of liked to stay 2 weeks. Still need to finish downloading but am running out of space on my puter.
-
I just love to spend hours on the beach or in the water. I think I must of been a fish in a past life.
-
welcome home.
-
Great to see you Mum. Great pic of you (I assume it's you) on the beach.
-
EWB...I'm from Westchester County
I'm still in my robe and not showered yet. Who cares right?
I guess we all decided to have a lazy day.

Many prayers for our beach friends & the beachie families.
Mum's MIL was taken to the hospital..... so we need to gather round their family.
Julz DH had a mishap/accident that required a trip to the hospital for him yesterday in the midst of the snow storm. Prayers round their family.
Arnie. I know it's been a while now since we've had your report on your DD and her recovery.... and yours too. Know that we hold your clan in our hearts as well.
Footie. Where are ya sweetie-kins? You know we miss you when you're away from our lemonade party for too long.
Big hugs and plenty of prayers for all in need of them.

Seyla.....I hope you are all dug out & just How much snow did you get? We got 16 - 18 inches! I hope you got a good snugglely lazy day!
EWB.....How much White stuff did you See? Keep Warm & take good care of yourself!!! Make some room in that suitcase Girlie!!!!
SoCal.....I love snow but am envious of you! It's darn right frigid this morn!
Sharon.....I believe that IS our MUM....She sure has a Choice Pair!!!! LOL!
Faith....Thank you so much for letting me scream....Drooling over Your Wonderful Breakfast!
As Faith let my Beachette's know yesterday (?I think?) My DH met up with the Snow Blower after being really tired from running it & didn't make a very good choice & his Right Hand ended up with a pointer finger compound fracture under nail, middle finger with fracture under nail & also compound fracture between the first 2 knuckles. Servere cut to the middle of pointer, middle, & ring fingers. His hand was stuck in snow blower for over 20 minutes before he got out The first 15 minutes or so with trying to figure out how to let someone know that he was stuck!!! Trip to the Local Hospital, then a Wonderful drive in Near Blizzard conditions to a bigger Hospital to see a Hand Specialist! Many Many stiches later & thank God no pins or plates & he was back home!! He is Ok but a lot a pain & Fealing all kinds of Stupid!!! A Very Lucky Man indeed!!!!

Here is some Beachy Christmas Music to go with That Wonderful Breakfast!!!!
-
Oh Julz - so sorry to hear of your adventures but glad it is not MORE serious - how is dh today? How are YOU today? We got about 12, maybe 15 inches, its lovely (esp since I did not have to shovel)
Mum - thinking of you - prayers for your mil.
perhaps I can cheer people up with the announcement of a new addition to our family - a lovely 3 1/2 month old exotic shorthair kitty. I do not have pictures yet but we are picking her up tonight. Officially her name is St. Barbara of the Faith ...don't know - that was the first thing that popped into my head (must of been thinking of all you sweeties!) Her everyday name is not settled on... I am thinking Sabrina, but not sure. Any suggestions? Promise to post pictures (both children are home and will take pity on me)
-
Oh my goodness Julz!!! So sorry to hear about DH.!!! I guess it could have been worse, but that sure does sound awfully painful!!! Give him a gentle hug from the beachies!!
MUM---sure hope your mom is gonna be ok. I really hate to hear that. BTW, I LOVE the pic. But, no thanks.....I got rid of two of 'em and sure don't want anymore....LOLOLOL
Wishing each and every one of you a happy and wondermous week!!
Big hugs to all!!!!!!!!!!1

The picture I posted from photobucket vaporized in the night.
That's so frustrating!
I just wanted you to know how much I treasure all of you -- and that's not conveyed by a great big box that says account inactive. LOL.
-
Faith, I cant figure out what is better but I think I'll go hungery
Merry Christmas to You all.
No I think Ill eat with help Julz.
-

Deb...Is this an invitation to Bermuda. I accept it.
julz....How is DH feeling?
Faith... When I saw that breakfast table before my coffee, thought I was imagining it. I only looked twice, because its too painful to look at something that you cant eat.
EWB....My DD will be here Wednesday morning from Hawaii. I will ask her to show me certain things. Deb was kind enough to teach me the basics. Sabrina is a pretty name.
Good Night Ladies.
-
Beach lovers, I reserved them for this weekend. Dont forget to bring faiths breakfast, coffee
and I bring the watermelon for mid morning snack.
Please don't be late.
-
Good morning.
My first day of 'vacation' and my brain woke me up early -- thinking of all of the possibilities of this week of "availability." So I begin by laughing at myself.
Under the category of aren't women brilliant:
Yesterday I arrived home from my happily exhausting day with Santa & my songfest. Well, actually 8 songfestSSSSSSSS...... did I mention I was exhausted. The realtors were ringing the doorbell within five minutes of my arriving home to sign the new contract. Did I mention I was exhausted?
And as we escorted them out the front door, we found a package. This is from a BCO sister I have never met....... inside, in the most amazing gift bag, is a hand-knit "prayer shawl" with the most amazing backstory written on a glorious page.
I am dumb-founded with awe.
We are so good to one another.
Thank you, you know who you are. I may begin weeping if I think to hard about it. I am wrapped in my fuzzy bathrobe -- with my prayer shawl wrapped around me, as I think of everyone here in need of prayers.
Prayers for Julz DH's hand. For Arnie's DD's back. For Mum's MIL's heart and mind. For our Footie. For all other beach-readers in need.

Elaine. I saw my first picture of you since your 6th grade profile! You do exist. You were captured in the kickline of those gorgous 'girls' of yours. I LOVE it. See if you can post it here...... or with your permission, I will.
-
Here is one of Dh's favorites from this trip.
-
As promised Faith - "mine" is in animal print but they are all mine. Just home from school and decided to have a real dinner party as their Christmas gift to each other (have celebrated together since 6th grade). This was taken in our living room.
