Splashing thru in a jiff.
I've promised myself to focus on the wedding & it's details..... we're nearing the two week count-down. We'll drive over two weeks from tomorrow!!!
I have been put in charge of making a "bird cage" (all the rage right now -- so they told us at the bridal shop)...... which is a mini-teeny 'veil' that just goes across the eyes/face. Who knew??
Just back from the BIG fabric store and think I have the necessary ingrediants. LOL. If this doesn't work, she can always grab up some flowers and plop 'em on her head.
Remind me not to volunteer for such assignments, ever again.

Sending sand & sun to everyone!!
Oh, for Pete's Sakes..... started a new page.
This daisy looks 'bridal' to me for some reason??

Just driving the beach in my 4 wheeler hollaring Hey at all you beachies.

Hey Back Dragonfly!!!!
Good Night Beachy's
-
Oh Julz. What a great picture & a GREAT way to start my day.
Dragonfly. Our "Coonie" is a big time, four wheeler. You'll have to compare notes. And wheels.
Where is everyone?
Sharon, are you still stiring your soup? Sounds delicious, as always.
Spar won the copy of my book, from my FB contest. How amazing was that? Hopefully it will arrive safely next week.
Footie. Thinking of you as I start the day......
ARNIE!!!!! I get so concerned when we haven't heard from you. I know this last chemo knocked ya down...... hope that we get at least a quick splash today. Or maybe it's your computer? Or maybe you're feelin' so good you're out in your workshop, sawing up some holiday goodies?? In any case, I hope that you're starting to feel better.
Elaine. Can't wait to hear about your travels. Sounded delightful.
Dream. How's your quilt coming along? I actually went upstairs to my 'studio' and got some work done, just a little.
Mum. Now I've forgotten when you leave for Jamaica??? Soon??
Lisa. I could use one of your glorious photos. I miss our nightly sundowns already.... and it hasn't even been a week yet.
xx00xx00xx00xx00xx
We went shopping last night and my DH got a whole new outfit -- head-to-toe for his escorting of the bride, over the bridge to the gazebo. Yes. You may all chime in for a nice day of weather. Do you think there are special 'weather sprites' in charge of wedding weather? I hate to tie up angels on that request -- but still it's on my mind.
-
Hi Beachies I had my peducure lots of sunlotion, mask and snorkle, camera. We leave tomorrow.Very excited never been to Jamaica before. My husband's idea was for me to relax the week before my surgery on Monday. So that is what I intend to do.If I get online early mornings I will send an update.

Ohhhhhhhhhh..Faith! It'll be perfect! I'm soooo excited for you...we just watched the video of my daughter's wedding and reception the other day on video...for the umpteenth time! lol I don't know if I ever mentioned it but her reception was on a cruise boat and we took a 4 hour cruise on Lake Saint Claire. Just a picture perfect evening and a wonderful memory...the music...my beautiful daughter and son-in-law, the lake breezes.....mmmmmmmmm. Anyway, you'll have to flood us with lots and lots of pics!!!
Mum...have a wonderful relaxing time! What a wonderful dh you have
Not only can he take magnificent pics but he knows how to treat his woman!!! Take lots of pics to share.
I came home from getting my blood test Tuesday with a 2.9 white blood count. All my other counts were down too. They wanted to give me the neuprogen shot but bless her heart, my chemo nurse, Jackie saw the look on my face and gave me a pass...but I have to go back today. I've been eating lots and lots of strawberries and trying to bring it back up...lol DO NOT WANT THAT SHOT!!! Have gone through enough "bone pain" with this last chemo...don't want more.
Anyway, I did work in my workshop yesterday... I made a "free hat" chemo tree for my nurses. What a beautiful day here in Michigan...just what the doctor ordered...
My cat, Ralph, enjoyed the beautiful day too...lol
Hugs to all you beautiful beachettes!!! Wish me luck on my blood test today!!! xoxox

Thought you might like the "before" picture.
The bride-to-be is wearing the baseball hat, her maid of honor in the red, mother of 3 of our grandchildren -- including WB & da babeez.
The long golden haired beauty is our DIL out in Denver, as a high-school maiden, mother of 3 of our grandchildren -- the newest arrival back in June.
I will be certain to get a picture of the 3 of them together in two weeks in Annapolis.
What a hoot!!!
-
Did you all take #32 and head for Jamaica with MUM??
Is it too late for me to swim out to meet ya'all???
In the car -- we'll see how long my phone battery holds up. LOL -
Heeeeyyyy!!!!!!! I lost #32 when my puter crashed awhile back! I had it saved in "favorites". Could somebody PUUUULEEEEEZEEEE email it to me??? I sure am missing that bird!! LOL
Faithie......be careful on the road. I bet you hear that song in your head all the time......."on the road again, just can't wait to get on the road again........"

-
Very nice Faith..I love it
-
Ok Faithie---since you've picked out your dress, and we have #32 reserved for that weekend, I thought I would show you gals what I've picked out for the bridesmaids (Us). If you want something different, just pot it here so we can decide. Time is running out!!!!!! Real Soon!!!!! Soooooo......we need to get busy!!!!!!!
-
OK--------these are pretty....whatchall thank??
Or these are really pretty too. I love the color!!! Of course, we don't want to over dress the bride and MOB. hehe
-
I found this one too, but we sure don't won't to dress above the MOB do we? Well, I guess we could wear duct tape dresses or balloon dresses:
I personally like the next one, but maybe it should be reserved for the bride!!
-
Good morning Beachies. Fell asleep waiting for #32 to pick me up!!!
-
I hear ya coonie...seems like it takes #32 forever to get here...yawnnnnnnnnnnn
-
#32 is on page 30 of the 'Escape' thread.
-
Gaaaaaloreeeeeeee beeeeeee.......the DUCK has been located!!!
NOW we can all climb aboard and join MUM on vacation!!!
All abooooard!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Great goooooga mooooooga that's not Sharon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Don't tell me our duck was hijacked and Sharon is being held for ransom!!!!!!!!!!!! I've got to find the one with Sharon as our captain!!!! I don't like riding with strangers ........ LOL
-
Great Googa-Mooga indeed.
Who has taken our Sharon??? We can pool our allowances to get her back.
I love seeing all of the wedding pics -- I think this has all happened in such short order, that I have to pinch myself periodically to remember that it's happening in earnest for our love birds.
While I loved the balloon ensemble, I'm wild about the polka-dot number that balloon girl's assistant wears -- smiling so perfectly. I thought I was set with my metallic pewter number, but seeing those polka dots has me rethinking the whole concept.
We must relocate the Sharon-at-the-helm pic..... but I can't go on a wild-goose chase. (Just couldn't resist. LOL) Surely it's around here somewhere???? KAK?????
-
Hi all! lovely photos (as always!) quick run thru, had wonderful trip this weekend w/Mom. More later.
Hugs and sweet dreams to all!
