Yw Biker, the green is a little pukey........but who wears 'em anyway on a warm sandy beach?
-
Here Biker, this is a nicer colour...
-
We're in for a real cold snap. I need to find myself a nice beach.
-
I know Faith is on her way to having some fun. But I miss her. And Mary-Lou and Checkum. Where are you? Hope things are ok.
-
True enough! I just want to dig my tootsies into the warm sand right about now.
Thanks for the new ones! Crocs, aren't they?
-
Did someone mention candy? tootsies?
or something chocolate?
or a pretty rainbow of m&m's
Looks like everyone is having a great time on the beach. I bet Checkum is writing another book
and Faith is probably on a REAL beach! Lucky gal ........hope you beachies have a wonderful evening....
-
Hi Coonie, God builds a rainbow every day to brighten our trouble away. So can I eat your rainbow please.........................Debbie

Sahalie..welcome home...
Can you believe this is a quilt?? I saw it this past week
-
Beachie Bunnies.
We are here!! Surrounded by palms......... Drove down thru gorgous sunshine all day!!
Very uneventful, until the last 16 miles, when the interstate came to a complete halt. We nearly fried the GPS attempting to go off-grid. In any case we're here!
And I'm ready to do NOTHING!!
We have our bikes and that's the only productive thing on the agenda...... ride for miles!!
much love................
-
P.S. Lisa where did you see these quilts? More pics!! PLEASE!!
-
Took me too long to catch up. Will mark my spot, and talk tomorrow.
-
Hi dreamwriter,
Faith, glad you are there safe and sound and enjoying it, we all need a day to do nothing.
I called my daughter fussing cause the septic tank is not working $6000, disconnect box doesn't fit the septic system $150 the air and heat quit working 1000 to just hook it up. brand new house priceless. She said she knew what I meant, she has a new tahoo and it hasn't started in 3 days, they finally figured out it had a loose wire, then she had a flat. This is just being a weird week.
Biker, I did quit my job and it was an impulse (sick and angry) thing, wish I had not I should have given in and let people do as they want since all the other nurses did anyway. The DON wanted me to quit because no one wanted to work with the Colonial who actually made them do some work.. Oh well, it is history.
I have some pink and green flip flops like those white and blue and absolutely love them. I love in flip flops all year round in the house and only put on shoes and sock to go to town when it is extrememly cold.
Julz, you would have loved the blink guy on American Idol, Jaz has started us a thread for it.
That quilt is amazing. I love it, Lisa. I am curious where it was also and how someone made it. By hand stiching or machine?
Sahalie, it is time for you to give us a scavanger hunt list, set a date and let us all go. huh? I am still eager to win and know everything. Bless you sweet shell. Want, need pictures of your vacation.
Celia, do you recognize my avatar? You sent it to me as an art and I was going to try to make it but the last piece I did was the stick heart with the glass on it. I need to get back into gear. I do have a list of projects, just need some warmer weather to do them.
I will be waiting patiently for a scavenger hunt list.
Love all you guys. hugs all around.
Mary-Lou did a knight in shining armor carry you off for your BD? Please be returned to miss you and need you.

-
Faith here is a collage I made of some of the quilts
they are at the Oceanside Museum of Art..right on the beach
as a matter of fact...or one block or two off..
-
Just marking my spot and will be back later. But while I remember, Lisa, my friend went to the quilt show in Houston this past fall? I think it was Houston. She brought back pictures of the most amazing quilts. Unbelievable talents.
Faith, I hope you have a wonderful time. It's a much deserved break to say the least. Relax, enjoy.
-
Happy Wednesday Beach babes. This means the week is half over, yahoo. Waiting for the coffee to brew and will be back. Has anyone seen Checkum? Was it time for her chemo? I hope she is doing okay.
-
Here's a little Willie Nelson to start your day....
-
it's just soooooooooooo reassuring to have the beach in "flash-back" mode: song of the day, scavenger hunts.......... i'm a happy camper, thank you.
we have a roll of toilet paper and a box of Special K in the house and that's it.
must make serious list and then plunge in to get the things that make a house a home, well not even that far -- today's list will be things like light bulbs, toilet brush, trash cans -- the house a home list will be evolving weeks/months from now.
we are doing our part for the local economy.
(our bed is to be delivered this afternoon: whooooooooooohooooooooooooo)
