Some fireworks to get ready for 2009
-
whoooo hoooooo Lisa. LOVE your new avatar!!
Sharon. I meant literally, has anyone read the novel: Life is a Beach. by Claire Cook? That you posted earlier?? The cover looks delicious. (Edited cuz I spelled the author's name wrong: LOL)
-
Oh, no, I've not read it. Just found the pic on Google.
-
Thanks Faith. It brings me back to my childhood
--------when life was simple!
-
which way to go??
-
Lisa. What was that line from Alice in Wonderland?? There was a character looking backward and forward simultaneously. Hmmmmm.
-
I haven't read the book either but would like to. Hope all has had a good day.
Faith hope everyone in your home is back on the healthy track
Sharon, you have brightened up the beach, thank you
LC, love your avatar, perfect for you.
I miss all the friends we use to have combing the beach with us also. ahhhhh, maybe someday we will get some flybys to let us know how they are.
I guess people just get too busy with real life to enjoy our virtual world sometimes. It relaxes me though.
Maybe a little too relaxed.
Julz of the beach, hope you are having a relaxing evening with dear hubby, and boys are behaving.
Everyone have a great evening. hugs all around
-
socal, I love the which way to go, that is so cool.
-
Hi Beachies!
Spar we are eating Hot Air popped corn...Of course with butter & salt on! You should of seen the dogs looking at the stuff come out of the Popper! Too Funny...
I'll Share....

Hi everyone. I am glad to hear the Babeez are returning to health. Sorry about the anxiety of having sick kiddos. It is so hard to watch them struggle.
I had a quiet lovely Christmas. As I said there was a little glitch with one angel. Received a sprite sitting on the edge of a creamer. a grass leave curls into the handle of the creamer. She is exquisite with butterfly wings. \
Our little wonder enjoyed his Christmas. He had a ton of gifts - all things to do to help him develop.... toys that teach.
Funniest moment: Hubby had a beautiful Santa screensaver. Nathan dragged his new sled over and Thanked Santa for the gift!
-
Nightie Beachettes. I'm too pooped to pop!
-
p.s. It's my absolute silly-willy, nitwit, kookie-goofie goal that our beach thread reach it's 250th page as we cross into the New Year..... and it looks like we're right on target.
(I know it's loopy, but I like symetry in numbers..... and if we have a lovely party between now and then I think it's easy enough to accomplish.)
-
OK Faith------I'm the same way. I think it's part of OCD
I'll help us sprint to page 250.....here we go!!
-
Oh great! It looks like I made a WIDE screen again...arrggghhhh
sorry!
-

-
I can't sleep so am going to look for things on the beach.
Hey bud, don't drink the salt water.
-
Celia, is it really your birthday?
It's kind of late to party but here, have a "little" drink.
Hope you had a good one Celia.
-
sharon, yes the 27th is my birthday--- it is just turning midnite now on the west coast, so it is over. thank you for the birthday wishes.
I had a really nice day!!
-
Hugs Celia, sorry, I didn't know.
Good thing I couldn't sleep last night.
-
CELIA, CELIA, CELIA, CELIA.
Happy happier, happiest of birthdays. I know that as a December birthday celebrant, I sorta celebrate my birthday thru-out the month -- as people are able to. Sometimes folks give me joint presents on my birthday (for Christmas, too) other times they give me my birthday-joint present on Christmas. In any case, what I'm saying is that I'm used to celebrating for a couple of weeks and I bet you do somewhat the same.
Sorry we're so late........ but we're here now!! (We need our room-mother, Iris, to keep us organized. I know Mary Lou has one coming up in Jan and I didn't write it down: YIKES!)
Here's a few morning cupcakes to get us started:
-
Celia. The number of years I'm wishing for you!!
-
And just a little confetti:
-
Edited to add the picture. LOL. Something with a little color.
-
Holy cow, stand back from that cake when you light it.
I'll have my friends standing by.......
-
Sharon We Are gonna need a second Round of Fire Fighters to put out the FIRE FIGHTERS their so HOT!!!!! LOL!
CELIA HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!
I brought some one Special to wish you a.....
It's looks like lots of Friends of Friends will come to share in the Celebration.....
All Kidding aside May the Celebration go on forever!!!! With Lots of Love from This Beachy Gal!!!
-
Second round on standby.
-
In keeping with the beach theme.
-
