thank you faithandfifty for my own pair of flip flops for your beach. That was very welcoming. I am for some of that horseback riding on the beach, that looks like fun.
Hi Deborye, big hugs back at you.
There are some beautiful pictures posted here, very relaxing.
Would love to live with the ocean right out my front door
Not this one though
more like this one.
Have a good evening girls.

Hi to everyone on the beach. I have to skip my writing class this week cause my boss is taking me out to lunch. Since free lunches are the only thing I have to do with work, it is not that big a sacrifice!
I got my flu shot and a mini flu. Not fun.
Saturday I am having a friend over... she has Cerebral Palsy (like my halfsister) but to the extent that she cannot speak and operates a wheelchair. She uses a bliss board and loves when I try to "talk" to her on it. She can hear, she loves to remind me.

It is getting to be that time of year again
Here is a beach with a rock that says 1620 and a replica of
-
And nearby a replica of a colony called Plimoth
And in that colony was a replica of a house of my great great to the many many times
grandfather lived
this is what the kitchen looked like
Time to get our Turkeys!!
-
-
Sorry for any confusion...
-
Wow, thanks Julz of the beach for my beautiful sea glass you know how much I love that. What very special pictures have been posted today. Can you imagine how hard life must have been back in plimoth. Lovely Pics Luv! so precious.
Just got back from the 5 to 7 soup kitchen, we only fed about 60 people tonight, I guess everyone had a pay day and got some food. I was very surprised tonight that 3 different people I knew came to get the free food. I even ate it tonight, was so hungry my belly was growling. Then we went to life group which sometimes it is very calm and other times like tonight very controversial.
Sweet dreams to everyone and a few pictures to a few of my friends that know who they are.
My beach friends hung the moon!

Hi everyone, hope everyone can have fun in the sun. for me this day is sad, everyone that knows me knows how much laughter, love, and joy I have with my duck with personality. Well the dog killed him during the night so have cried all morning. It is kind of hard to understand how someone can love a duck but he was like a baby with a temper and loved to be petted and if she didn't get enough attention she would pull on your pants leg or peck you until you petter her. I will miss so much the laughte she brought watching her. There are pictures of the duck all over these boards. Hugs to all.
-
Oh Spar, I am so sorry about your duck. I do know how much you loved him. What a terrible shame.
Julz, we may be going out for a ride on Sunday, if the weather is ok. I think it's supposed to rain tomorrow, but Sunday will be better. We ride all winter. We have heavy weight long underwear and leather. I'm good to go.
Mary Lou, can I share a chair with you?? That is really beautiful!
-

Lisa, I think those are some sort of decorative kale. Kale doesn't seem like the right word, but it's something like that. We have them around here and they are quite beautiful.
-
Thanks guys, I am better. Those plants look like cabbage and lettuce we grow in the garden.LOL
Hope everyone has a good day. Lisa do you do something everyday? You have a very busy exciting life.
Celia, you are a sweetheart
Biker, do think that plant is edible? Are you riding this weekend? It is beautiful here today, cool with lots of sunshine.
Sweet Julz of the beach thank you so much for your phone call, that cheered me up. Am praying everything goes good with all your families surgeries. Just thinking of it all is overwhelming.
Mary-Lou, you add so much joy to the beach thread with your gorgous pictures, thank you so much.
Faith, we are missing you, how much longer until you are home for awhile?
Shrink, is everything going good? still very happy?
lv2cmp, missing you, you still have your goat and your monkey on the story thread.

A quick pop-in & read-back to get myself up-to-date. Still in Dallas tho things are winding down.
It's been a very productive trip -- to say the least. This afternoon we met with a publisher to submit a new project. They spent an hour with us and gave us a lot of encouragement!!! Using my music/songs to creative movement ideas. Pretty sweet.
Received an invitation right after that for a keynote this summer to be held in Kansas City. Whoooohoooooo. They met me last year & this year came to my presentation & out of all 25,000 people in attendance have chosen me for their event. What a thrill.
won't start waving @ individuals, as my brain is seriously 'fried' and i wouldn't want to leave anyone out...... so good to see friends old and new @ our beach. such a blessing!
i fly home tomorrow night. thanks for all of the travel mercies you're sending my way.
there's a reception for Buckeyes in a few minutes......... must go hail a taxi. love to each of you!
(decided to treat myself to hooking up the internet -- as my reward for a good convention.)
-
headed off to my cabana -- to listen to the surf.
turned out I shared a taxi ride with a VERY famous children's authority/professor and then met tomorrow's closing speaker -- who will address those in the group of 25,000 who don't have to get to the airport early. this grand woman was at our OH party! get out! she was intrigued w/my 'costume' and we spent much of the eveing visiting. what an honor! outragous.
too tired to find a nice pic..... will just appreciate those that have been posted recently.
-
Sounds like such fun Faith! The Up & Coming meets a Grand Puba!!!! Must have been surreal!!!
Hears a Pic for You!!!
Or more than One, Several & then Some!!!
Good night Beachettes.....From A to ZZZZZZ!!!
-
Here is where I have been today...
-
spar, here is a candle for you to light in memory of your sweet duck.
i think it would be fun to make a candle like this.
