    whoooo hoooooooooo how are youuuuuuuuuuuuuuu?

    we're now in Albany. been to a nice dinner @ P.F. Chang's: lovely

    the other presenter & I have been having a ball. we shopped @ LL Bean tonight, at the mall! who knew they were opening stores these days? fun!! fun!! holiday preparations in Oct...... wowow

    Lisa, sorry for sitting in your chair, next time I will drag up a free one.  That is a beautiful view from the lake house.

    Hope all is going well for everyone.  The beach has certainly gotten quite.  I miss all my beach friends and wish everyone would come back and enjoy getting their toes wet again.

    Faith will you be home thursday?

    Hi everyone.  My right lung appears to be functioning.  Its a little slow but oxygen rates come right back up after exertion.  Overall 97%.  The pain and cough due to little cold.  Still have to get an xray whenever I can... but did not want me running out to get one right this second.  My written piece seems to have scared the hell outta Saint.  Sorry my friend.  I think it had more with my not mourning Jacqueline before the trip and the two problems converged.  You can bit*h slap me next time you see me.

    Cannot reach poor Saint.  I don't want her to be mad at me.  I feel bad that she was upset about what I wrote.  And David is trying to curb what I write on the internet.  Have quilting class 2night

    That quilt is beginning to look like something.(9 squares) in green pastures.

    Hope I have enough material.  I have been been short of materials lately.

    Dreamwriter, who is David and how can he curb your imagination on what you write.  I know Saint would not be mad at you.  It is a writing class after all.

    I would love to see a picture of the quilt top when it is done and would love to learn to do it.

    Tomorrow, we need to plan a lemonaid party for Faith

    Sahalie is probably off on her wonderful vacation, but I bet she still thinks of us.

    Not much going on at the beach today so think I will mosey on down and see what I can find.

    Weather is getting cooooler....Halloween is quickly approaching..which is a good thing because I am already sneaking the candy !Foot in mouth

    oh thank goodness i have the beach to retreat to tonight, even if for a minute -- to see the pics and happy, happy posted thru out the day -- i so needed it tonight.

    today was a debacle. an utter and genuine crud-fest nightmare. a nightmare that we surmounted, but with exhausting ramifications.......

    picture an inner-city hotel that has experienced communication melt-down..... our conference day, scheduled eons ago -- and somehow no space in the inn (so to speak) literally no room for my 6 hour long workshop..... they cleared a storage room that had approx 88 boxes -- 3 foot squares of pillow -- stacked floor to ceiling

    my day got fully underway @ 6:30 with all the key players having a show-down (speaking w/animation -- some might say yelling)

    it was like swimming in jello

    then it started SNOWING SNOWING SNOWING, then the electric went out

    seems like it was a house of cards........ 

    we kept rebounding, no matter what happened. i am so worn out, this ol' grannie's fried

    one more day.

    i heard a prediction for 12 inches of snow after midnight -- but i'm praying that's for north of us (for Pete's sake, it's Oct!!!)

    in another year or two, this will be funny. if i really think thru all of the mayhem of the day, i'll cry

    i had misgivings when @ the beginning of the day there were no paper towels in the ladies room.... kind of how everything at the property went.

    oh..... it's SNOWING here!! seriously snowing.....

    falling asleep @ keyboard. pray i sleep tonight.

    calgon take me to a beach...................

    somebody send me a picture of Aruba!! such a distant memory now

    Thanks Luv, you made the beach a happier place this evening. Yep, have been thinking more about halloween, have made all the crafts I can think of.  Wish Sahalie was here to give me some more ideas.

    Can't wait to see what the grandkids dress up like.  Emily wants to be miley cyrus. How do ya do that. carry around a microphone?

    Dream ~ try not to think the worst.....Sometimes something comes up & we have to run out the door without being able to post that something has come up!  Writers put the stuff they don't want to voice openly into there work....sometimes it takes others that read time to come to grips with what one is really feeling. Just my thoughts....

    Faith ~ I'm sorry your day was really rotten! Think of the snow as Mother Natures way of trying to Cool Down a Hot Tempered Messed up Day!  Something to help you sleep....

    wow, I just found this thread and it great to just look at the pics.  I am going to the beach next month, I will have my third surgery (this one to make my implants even) or as my ps calls it TWEEKING.  Will go to the beach hopefully after surgery and recoup for a week.  WoooooHooooo!  It's my surgery....oh yeah! It's my surgery......oh yeah!

    Not only is today hump day but foots wanted to give Faith a lemonaid party so we will do that for Faith and Foots.

    Also I ordered a aztec bedspread, my guest room will be aztec in design but it was not what I was expecting at all.  What in the world kind of curtains am I going to use for this????

    Faith, are you home yet?  Wondering if the snow has you snowbound.  Any more news from Foots?  I got to come early from the soup and sandwich and free coat group since they had so many.  got my flu shot today and got to go back to the dr. for lab tomorrow.

    Where is everyone.  Enjoy the evening and the sunset.
