Hi to all you lovely beach ladies,
It has been awhile since I have visited this site. I think the last time I really was able to read most of the posts was at page 146. One day very soon, I want to read everything that has been going on. I will let you beach ladies know that you are always in my thoughts. I recently walked in the American Cancer Society, Making Strides for Breast Cancer walk and dedicated my walk to all of you, my sister in law and myself.
I have been able to scan through the pictures and have been very impressed. I guess I will need to learn how to add pictures to my posts. You may all be surprised that I just bought an MP3 player and have to take it to my stepdaughter to download music and to show me how to work the thing. Now isn't that sad.
I wish everyone a wonderful evening on the beach and a fantastice sunrise. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Sending (((((HUGS))))) yur way.
Good night,
Cheryl

Julz - How soon do you get to hold your Grands?
Celia - Neat picture of the toothless toothbrush.
Heymoose - Making Strides thank you for thinking of us on your walks.

Sahalie - Are you all packed? If you need any tips on packing I'm sure us biker girls could give you a few tips for packing in confined spaces. We know how to fill every nook and cranny!
Luvs - Neat pictures.
Shrink - How's the honeymoon going?
Wings

Wings, it is so good to see you post, have missed you much. I bet the colors are beautiful on your ride.
I love the fall colors and cooler temps. Have a good day everyone.
-
I'll just be popping in now again for now. There is a lot going on in my life. Nothing bad.
Wings, nice to see you posting. We went on a ride last weekend to the mountains. We saw beautiful fall foliage. Ain't that the truth about how bikers pack, lol! We sure do use every nook and cranny.
Hello Spar! I love your orange pics and your autumn leaves.
Lisa, I am also in love with your pic.
Cool paintings, LUV.
Sahalie, missing you. I know you are getting ready for your vacation. I'm sure you have tons to do before you leave.
I'm at work, so no more time for me. Everyone take care and I'll see you soon.

friends, already we have played on the swing, dug up worms and fished, made a halloween witch, colored and if I hear "i'm bored" one more time I am going to scream my head off!!!! Fixing to go to a meeting and leave her to dear hubby and hope he can cope for an hour alone. hugs to all, have a good day. I gotta come up with some crafts to keep a 6 year old busy.
-
Spar..now is the time to pull
"Only boring people are bored"
and if you are bored, I have some chores for you...
How about polishing silver or weeding etc..etc..
-
safe & sound in Grand Ol' Atlanta......... my goodness the neighborhood where we're staying is unbelievable...... true mansions of the south!! OLD money, i suppose?? WOW & another WOW!!
we're clocked into our digs & they had fresh, warm cookies waiting -- so i'm a happy camper.
now must prepare for tomorrow. (had intended to get that done last night, but our quick departure accomplished getting us here, but didn't allow my usual PowerPoint redux.
they've offered the stretch limo to take us to dinner.......... hmmmmmmmm, tempting
-
Goodthinking Lisa and I just might try that. This has not been a good day. got to the nurses meeting, clocked in and then found out it had been cancelled and no one had bothered to call me. I asked the DON why did someone not call me that it was cancelled so I didn't have to drive all the way into town. she just said Oh sorry, I told her I will not be at the next nurses meeting, no one said anything and I went home. No wonder they can't keep employees if that is how they are treated. Ok. I'm done I need to calm down. I think I need to find some green things.
Ok, now I am calm. Have a good evening.

Hallow-beach!
Hope everyone is enjoying the crisp weather...it is invigorating I must say!
Just a few "hints" for the season:
I heard rubbing your carved pumpkin w/ veg.oil on the inside prevents it from getting moldy...I will have to try it this year ....especially if you carve them in advance!
My daughter got the plastic pumpkins and decorated them...but I found this one online...I have to say its such a great idea...and a decoration that doesn't get thrown out...
Use silver floral spray for a classy look...
or the little ones can color them...I never thought about using my old children's costumes but I've noticed at Sprit Halloween they stuff witches costumes and place a pumpkin or mask in them!
or line your pumpkins with your Christmas lights and place pumpkins on top...hide the wire with pine or mulch....
Happy Hunting!!!!
-
Luv, how cool are those pictures. Loved them. Here are my two crafts for today
My cardboard witch, my dh did that one. The other is a can wrapped in yarn for an ink pen or pencil holder. hugs to all.
