Sige, Sige Sige......... where were you hiding??
All of these months that we've been exploring the beach -- we've certainly lacked your expertise and eye for beauty.
Now that you guys have smuggled the goats down off the roof, what will happen to the local tourist economy???
-
I still don't know what to do with the goats except milk them and make cheese. Have eaten goat but what do ya do with them on the beach????
Maybe we can put some sheep on the roof or horses or zebras.
Here is our sunset. There are so many kinds of beauty.

OMG Sige be still my heart. Ohhhhh Laaaaaa Laaaaa! Cabana boys for everyone! HOW OLD ARE THEY? Look a little young though! You did get pic from the over 21 bunch! LOL!
You got Sahalie out of hiding now your trying to bribe her into staying!
Sahalie ~ I'm glad your & having fun with Family!
Jaz ~ I love the music. Todays song hit just the right spot for me Thank You!
Spar ~ I'm glad your goodly deed for the day brings satisfaction to your soul! Thank you for my much needed support!
Faith ~ Jamming with Goats on a resturaunt roof overlooking the water while a boat wanders by! Did I cover all of your days adventures. If I didn't think you were busy before, I definately do now! I know there's a song in there somewhere for you! LOL! Ahhhh the image!
Celia ~ How did you stay afloat in those suits? Just kidding, cool pic.
Lisa ~ If only my curves were in that great of shape! I did loose 4 POUND's this month & my Blood Pressure was good at the Dr's today! YEAHHHHH!
To all my beachly friends it looks like fun was had while I was doing my crazy sleeping then running around act! I need to go get ready for work, night # 2. I will pop in before I go.
Much Love to everyone.............

I bet if we put some pink lawn flamingos on the roof, they'd never notice the goats are gone...

Julz, that is my all time favorite song, no matter who sings it it touches by heart!
I think the pink flamingos work!
-
Sunset!! I just got done taking this picture and am eager to hear what you think about it.
I'm usually going for all the colors (like in Lisa's BRILLIANT pic above) but I think I may like this shot of tonight..... strikingly simple? eerie? hmmmm. what do you think?
-
I love it Faith.
-
I was hopeing my gnomes would show up but I think the picture is not close enough, this is my front yard
-
Faith, the picture is stunning. Love it. Everyone have a great night.
-
Very nice faith..nice and calming..
-
calming..... the perfect description...... thank you friends
we can all use some extra-calm
(what with all of those hotties running on the beach, the missing goats and the parade of happy flamingos and gnomes)
-
Faith, very serene and peaceful. Beautiful picture, thanks for sharing.
Cheryl

Goodmorning beach friends, I just have a few minutes and then off the pick up daughter and granddaughter, the little one is having some oral surgery done today after getting hit in the mouth with a lead pipe at headstart 2 years ago and the teeth died and turned grey and is messing her mouth up and she in alwys in pain.
Everyone have an exciting day at the beach with lots of activity and beauty. love to all
-
All the fingerprints are gone but my granchildren left me with plenty of pictures they drew while here. I miss them. Two more granddaughter quotes if you can stand it. We were building some kind of fortress with blocks. I asked if she thought she could jump over the walls. She said, "Well, I'd have to turn myself into a frog to be able to do that. No way!" She then asked for a cookie and I told her that her mother said she couldn't have any more to which she replied, "Mommy's not here right now." What a gas!
My DH is going to an Eagles exhibition game tonight. I can't believe it's FB.time already.
See you at the beach bar. This looks like a good day for one of those tropical delights.
-
Good morning beach bunnies...what a beautiful sunrise...
Grab yourself a towel (I get the blue and white one)...
...we can start the day with a meditation...
...pour a cuppa tea...
...and sit back and watch the birds...
Have a great morning all!!!
-
Wow Sige..you got us all ready for the beach today..thanks..
-
Welcome HEYMOOSE.... you'll love our little oasis here from the humdrum. Sige/Peggy gets extra honors for starting us on such a grand note this morning.
I'm attempting to cut back on my addiction, and am celebrating 4 mornings computer free! LOL.
We've made plans to meet Saint & Mr. Saint and some of their friends a couple hours down the road from us tomorrow -- so I'm looking forward to that. I'll see if we can get someone to take a picture.
Spar: sending extra prayers to you, your daughter and grand-daughter for today's procedure. Please keep us posted. Never good to have a little one suffering.
Footie: glad that Sige's hottie-bodies brightened your peek in here..... isn't it fun to celebrate youth and potential and all that it implies? sending you more good wishes as you continue to understand the system & here's to hoping that it can work for you
Celia & Sahalie: I'm just so delighted that you're both continuously tethered here to the beach -- every one of your posts makes me happy
Saint: I'll be squeezing you before you read this
Shrink: keep remembering more of your gdaughter's insight.... i'm still chuckling about only snacks after dark. tonight's super-oatmeal Thurs, so she'd approve: haha
Wingie dings: still sending you prayers all the time that everyone is getting insight and some perspective and balance at your house. got anything planned for the weekend?
Lisa: always love to see your pics -- even those from the past, or non-beach-related (we're very open minded here: LOL) i'm always grateful to world travelers for sharing their vistas
Julz: what's happening at your place? sleepy zombie girl? remember you just had a vacation! how quickly that reality fades when you return to the real world.
Margo: thinking of you and wondering about your grands... are they ready for school?
Jazzy Jas: i bet you're up to your earlobes at work, do you know what day tomorrow brings?
Janny Biker Babe: Saw a tough cookie-momma riding a big hog and marveled anew, how she was keeping it up..... made me think of you & I realized I don't know where you live, or have forgotten if I knew
I really must make a list, as I don't want to leave anyone out...... A to Z we love ya!
to angels walking with us and angels hovering over us -- I saw a hat in a gift store yesterday that summarized lots of what we're building here:
B.E.A.C.H. = Best Escape Anyone Could Have
First I'd seen that thought and appreciated what we're creating together......
welcome newcomers, dip your toes in, this is a special place!!
-
This is on our beach here in San Diego
They are statues of Cancer Survivors in Survivor Park by the Bay..
-
hello from the beach today to the rest of the beachies!
faith, i love that explanation for B.E.A.C.H.!! Good for you for staying off the computer till noon. I need to start a practice of staying off the computer for a while each day also.
spar, good luck today for the little granddaughter.
I can't wait to hear all about sahalie's mini-vacation when she gets back.
hi to everyone else: footie, shrink, jasmine, biker jan, margo, julz. socal lisa, sige, and wings, and anyone i missed.
have a great day!
-
Celia: just LOVE that heart!!
Spar, I was thinking about your tough day and went downtown to take a picture of the troll who stands guard over the goats-on-the-roof. I thought maybe it would make you smile after a tough day. He stands about 3 feet high ++ and you'll notice they've chained him down, now that the goats have been replaced with all of those pink flamingos.
We're gonna miss tonight's sunset. DH got us tickets for the jazz-in-a-barn (not to be confused with the kids jazz-in-the-gazebo...... these are their professors and professionals.) Doubt I'll get back tonight..... so everyone have a wonderful evening.
-
think i am going to read today on the beach in the shade...
-
Okay, now that's an awesome book!
