Hi Robin:  I found a lump in the lower left part of my right breast in 1984 and was devastated.  However I went through both radiation and chemo at the same time and had to have several blood transfusions.  The CA doctor said they would never do that again!  But when I lost my hair 3 months in to my treatment that lasted year and a half I felt as though my bare butt was hanging out!  I would look at people at the store and think how fortnuate they were.  Then I decided to concentrate on how joyful I was going to feel when it started to grow back in.  Do you know it started to grow back in whithin three months.  Possitive thinking and the Lord were watching over me!  My hair grew down to the middle of my back even though I was still on chemo for a year and half.  I also had neck surgery that was very serious right around the time it grew back in.  My Ortho and Nuerosurgons were not at all certain that I would heal

BUT IT DID.  It was not a pleasant time in my life but I made it for all these years.  I do have cronic pain from my neck & spine but no CA.  I will keep thinking possitive and I am 71 years old.  I quilt, tat, knit, bead and do everything I want.  Busy, busy...Jackie Buckner
