    Trigeek,

I spent all last year enjoying soy latte's!  I am ER + and have had mets DX this Septmeber.  I don't know if this was an added factor but I am betting it didn't help.  If I could, I would by pass the soy.

It actually depends on what is IN the soymilk. Some are just crushed soy. These are more acceptable. Some soymilks have ADDITIVES.These are sheer hell.Chemicals, which NO ONE needs, and soy isoflavones, of which my onc and most oncs, I understand, disapprove.OMG--and some are made of GMO soy! Ewwwww!

Whatever happened to simple cappuchino made w/steamed milk, in espresso places?(Although I do not drink milk.)For me it would have to be almond milk, oat milk, grain milk, rice milk. And I'd suggest these instead of soy, for your latte too!)(You could bring a box in to Starbucks and instruct them to "use this".)

PS the WORST thing about those drinks is the HUGE amount of calories! Many soymilks  have vanilla & sugar in them too!)

I have become a green tea drinker, so am well out of the loop.

Just came to mention isoflavones in soy being contraindicated for us.

i was told, for ER+, no soy, but fermented soy is ok - so miso soup, which I love, is approved.

let us know what you find out!
