MaryL,
You have a beautiful head of hair!! And a very pretty face to go along with it!

Twink,
Your hair looks terrific and you look great w/ short hair. You look like Michelle Phillips to me! Very beautiful!

Mary, you look great and so do you Twink. I never took any pictures of me bald, didn't want any reminders. The pic in my avatar is me with my wig; I should update it sometime.
-
Wow, your hair looks healthy shiny and beautiful, it's great to see pictures like this it can sort of give a timeline on what to hope for. I know we are all different but boy that makes me smile with hope. Pearl

Your hair looks BEAUTIFUL.
Every so often I get pretty down. My hair has never come back to 'normal'. It's over a year since I completed chemo and it's about 3" long and you can still see lots of scalp through it, it's so thin.
Every time I see someone on the boards talking about wanting to get chemo to kick out that 2-3% of recurrance chance (when they have so little to begin with), I want to shout "but what about the chances of having permanent side effects!!!!!". These drugs aren't vitamin pills (*sigh*). I have mild heart damage from the Herceptin (I did TCH, not AC). And my hair..... I can comb over the front areas.. a bit...

But then I see pictures like yours and realize that my hair problems are NOT the norm for chemo results.... and that most people DO get their hair back. And it's SO good to see!!! And yucky hair is a small price to pay for my life (*grin*).
Gad, sorry for the pity party here. I try not to post about this because i don't want to be a downer and discourage people from doing what they must. But your hair looked so cute and I'm envious (*smile*).Congrats on the beautiful hair!!!

Janet, I'm so sorry.....I grew my hair very fast. Way faster than any of my sisters here at home. But my hair has always grown fast, and thick.
The curl is getting better, not as tight.
Have you colored your hair? Sometimes if your hair is dark it shows more scalp. Which just makes it look thinner too.
-
wow i have to figure out how to scan pics but i never took bald ones
maryl your hair looks amazing and twink you too are beautiful
