March 29, Viet Nam Vet. Day

Tennessee (the Volunteer State) is the first state declaring March 29 as Viet Nam Veterans Day, Welcome Home.

My little town, Crossville, will host the first parade in honor of this Day.  I will be proudly wearing my dog tags and wings, and ride an antique fire truck with a group of my fellow Red Hatters.

We expect the hotels to fill and hope to welcome home and say thank you to all Viet Nam Vets and their families.

The following states are now in the process of going for proclamations making March 29th Vietnam Veterans Day.
