Hello ladies,
Mannie 57 brought up a great post in progesterone's use. Here is food for thought for all of you that consume dairy: http://curezone.com/foods/milk.html
My mother has NO dairy except for organic cottage cheese that she uses with the budwig protocol. I drink a litte organic milk when I have to have my favorite dove chocolates. Genesis's program contains nothing with a cow's face on it also, and she has seemingly conquered her stage 4 BC.

Well if dairy is a risk factor for developing breast cancer, that's certainly where my risk sits. Milk, cream, butter, yogurt. I partake of them all in ample quantities. And I love every bite and every sip.
I used to joke that I'd rather live a shorter life than give up coffee. I gave it up without so much of a whimper when I went through chemo. And as I've avoided beverages with corn syrup over the last 2 years, I've noticed that my sweet tooth is diminishing also. I suspect dairy will be on the dietary sacrifice block at some point for me. Right now it sounds like a horrible fate. Perhaps when the time comes it will feel good to make healthier choices rather than a feeling of loss by giving up a major component of my food intake.
Lisa, thank you for the many links you've provided recently. My eyes glaze over after just a few minutes of reading much of the material you find. Maybe when my thyroid number are back on track I'll have better concentration.

Dear Althea,
Your post made me laugh! My eyes are glazed too! I have always been a persistent little cuff. My search for truth has given me quite the reputation amongst my family and friends. They roll their eyes when I come up with a new one, and honestly, I must repeat. 99% of the opinions I've taken a stand on in regards to nutrition and what to eat, what not to eat have been proven accurate in the last 25 years. None of this is of my own invention of course, just my diligent searching. I have made some interesting herbal concoctions though! If you want to read a really interesting blog about organic milk, go here: http://www.wisebread.com/horizon-organic-milk-is-it-all-just-lies#comments Read all the comments. I love America!

Dang! No more organic cheese and butter? Double dang!

I'm with you Althea----But I like to know I'm doing something to curb my bad habits--so I only buy organic dairy products that have been naturally grass grazed.
Then I can say to myself that the CLA may be inhibiting breast tumors--
Am I delutional? It remains to be seen.
