Please remember by best friend JS in your prayers. She is the most wonderful friend anyone could ever have and has metastatic breast cancer. She has just been told that chemo is going to be stopped because it is no longer effective and other conventional options will not help. SHe has a very strong faith and know that she will go to heaven - we just don't want her to go yet. Please pray for strength for her and her family.

Thanks sooo much for prayers for Judy.  We are researching alternative treatments and are trying to stay as positive as possible. Prayers can do amazing things!

Kathy,  I'm very sorry about your friend Judy, I will pray for her  to have the strength to continue fighting. I will light a candle in church. I lost my best friend a year and a half ago, and have not been able to get past the loss. That best friend was my mother, very young and very beautiful. Have your friend Judy come here to the boards and chat room, she will find wonderful support here. The love from the women here is incredible. It is so nice to have someone special to be able to talk to about this, Judy is lucky to have you , not all friends can handle the hard times of this disease. Stay strong, Hugs to you both KLynn

KLynn: Thanks so much for your comment & prayers. Her family is taking her out of the hospital today to a alternative treatment clinic. The drs. here have given up and we know that we are running out of time. Please pray that they will be able to help her at the clinic. We believe this place has the best chance for her. It is 2 hours away so I will not be able to visit her everyday like I have been since this started, but I believe that is this what will help her.  Weather permitting I can go on the weekends.  She doesn't 'do' computers but I copy things off for her to read. Any suggestions for websites with appropriate inspirational stories, poems, etc  would be greatly appreciated. She just retired in May after teaching kindergarten for over 30 years in our Lutheran school. thanks for listening.
