I agree with you, there's nothing more precious than a smile on a child's face knowing you are helping them deal with such sad circumstances that is NO FAULT of their own...But I don't think I'm ready for it yet.I really don't think I have much to give right now emotionally.

Dear Norm, You know when you will be ready,
I know how hard it is to loose someone, Easter
I was alone and yesterday was my father's birthday.
I wish you well, God bless you through these times.
Take care, Debbie
-
(((((Norm))))) Norm, maybe you need someone who can give something to you. I hope you have someone you can talk with. One step...........
-
Norm. Thanks so much for the update.
I certainly understand that your 'well' is empty and that you can't imagine giving emotionally to another. It makes sense on one hand.
On the other hand...........
Is there anyway that you could be a 'big brother' or interact on a smaller scale??
I can't begin to imagine the responsibility of accepting a foster child, but maybe there's some other way you could reach out, in a manner that you can handle right now?
I know that child is hurting.
I know that your heart is crushed, but still beating.
I just wish there was something/someone that could be a safe haven thru the storm and it's aftermath.
Today is my last gig of the LONG week. I'll be happy to head for home this evening.
Wishing you well, Norm.
Wishing you well, Angel Walkers.

(((((Norm))))) It's so uplifting to read your post.
-
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Norm.
I'm just moved to tears, reading your post above. I always know that you appreciate our "being here" for you, but I usually am at a loss for what might actually be helpful, or something that you might find encouraging.
It is just so reassuring to hear from your own heart, that our presence does indeed keep you company. You deserve to re-enter life on your own time-table.
I wish you well with the organizing for the give-away/yard sale. I'm sure that you will go thru many emotions in the process. It will be good to accomplish the process.
Did I miss that your Sara is pregnant???? CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Another blessing to look forward to. When is she due? I am so sorry if I missed the announcement. My brain seems to be less & less capable of keeping track of things. LOL.
My meeting this afternoon has to be rescheduled for another time. There was a conflict at the last minute. So keep thinking those good thoughts. Time will tell.

Norm. I don't know if you are aware, but we just lost one of our sisters, who went by the nickname of "Toyful"...... she is now with Brenda and the children. Your lengthy message really arrives at a time when I especially 'need' to hear about hope myself.
Thank you friend.
Thank you.

Hey Norm. Spent this evening with our babeez and WonderBoy. What a hoot. The babes are 'walking' behind shopping carts and wheeled airplane-carts..... if they have something to hang on to. They are growing up.
Hope that you are able to sleep well. Pleasant dreams.

The Lord will guide you continually,
and satify your needs in parched places,
and we make your bones strong;
and you shall be like a watered garden,
like the sping of water,
whose waters never fail. Isaish 58:11 NRSV
