Hi Norm! Huge cyber hugs your way!.... Good to see you post!.....I haven't been on much myself.....Glad to see you are doing well...Hugs and love...Lucy

(((((Norm)))))
Nice to see you are not buried under a snowbank Norman. Good idea about your yard sale. Spring is here for sure. The Canada Geese are flying overhead.......heading north. I love spring especially early spring when the frost is still in the ground so it's too early to do yard work and too early for mosquitoes or black flies. Just a nice time of year to enjoy the warmth of the sun.
Lucy, I was just thinking......not seen you in ages. Hope things are ok in your life.
-
Norm thanks so much for the chatty post. I agree with your revised plan for the garage sale.... you can always choose to give an item, if the situation seems appropriate.
While I was in Virginia, I was sharing the elevator with a young father and daughter who had obviously just been to the pool. He asked if there was a conference in town and I explained what who we were.
Anyhow, the idea struck me to give the little girl one of my CD recordings. Her eyes got as big as flying saucers. She was probably about five. As they were walking away down the hall I could hear her continued squeals of joy. It does feel good to be able to do a little something for someone else, particularly when it's so unexpected.
I'm sure that you'll know if there's a situation that deems your giving away an item. Your donation of the $$ is a fantastic idea.
I think I might be a bit loony if we still had snow cover at this point. I suppose you're used to it. I'm so ready for some sunshine!!

Hi Norm, I love your idea! I need to get rid of some of my moms clothes (I found her passed away I yr before I got cancer )
and I found out the peacher at the hospital needs clothes for a free clinic.
I might sale some of the other stuff to have money for medical needs.
Well, I really am proud that you are doing so well and I am praying for you.
Please take care, Debbie

-
(((((Norm))))) are you here? Whatcha been up to?
-
Takin' my pick-up-truck on a little road trip today! Just a couple hours north. Piece of cake, right?
Want you to know that I'm thinking of you Norm.
Will listen to my various books-on-tape series that I got from our library. Such a boost to my spirit. Do you ever listen to that sort of thing on your drives, Norm?? I'd recommend the concept.
I've walked for 4 mornings in a row...... so I'm shedding my sloth-mentality a little bit in the process. It doesn't come naturally to me yet, but with time, perhaps one day it will.

{{Norm}} It has been a beautiful day here in Georgia. The sun is shining from a bright blue cloudless sky with just a bit of wind. Spring is definitely springing here. I love all the new flowers. They kind of give me hope. I would say a breath of fresh air if not for all the pollen. Hoping that hope invigorates you as well! Thinking of you with prayers. Pam

Hey Norm..... I've 'snuck' onto the campus web. LOL.
Just can't stay away for a whole day.
Know that we're sending you strength and companionship.
I think it's just about time for a newsy post. I'm really missing what's happening in your world.......
How are you holding up? Have you thought further about ditching the cigs? How about your exercise program (nag, nag, nag, nag) I'm wanting only the best for you.
I know that it takes energy to take care of yourself. It's a good investment and Brenda would want you to make that effort.
Please sign in with an angel parade, at the very least....... or write the first chapter of your book, either way, I'm eager to see what's going on lately.

Hey Norm, I'm from Vancouver originally. My brother still lives out there and my mother is buried in White Rock. My sister lives in Portland, Oregon. What city/town are you in? We didn't used to get much snow in Vancouver, I think 1967-68 was a doozer the year we moved east. I used to like that the greenery stayed green throughout the winter! Loved the ivies that crawl around under the bushes. We used to vacation in Hope, Penticton and the Okanogan Valley. Never did see Ogopogo but I never stopped looking.
-
Just adding that I think North America was divided the wrong way. The border should have gone North to South, not East to West! We deserve some decent weather up here!
-
(((((Norman))))) Are you ok? You must be having a hard time right now........or just been very busy. I hope it's the latter but I suspect not. One day at a time, or even half a day at a time is progress.
-
Yup. We're getting concerned Norm.
Know that we are here, whatever your current mood.
Sending you a taste of hope.
