I have done a tandum skydive, but not crazy about the thought of bungee jumping.  If it is something you have wanted to do...I say go for it!!

Never-- I am not a thrill seeker or risk taker, I never have been. I don't even like to watch people do it on tv.

    VERA!!!

You crazy broad...where have you been.  I figured you'd fallen off the face of the earth and now I see you wanna jump out of an airplane!

My sister and BIL did it in Colorado...had a great time...wanted to go do it again...me on the other hand...NO THANK YOU...I will keep my feet firmly planted on the ground.

Hugs to you...don't be a stranger!

I did it.  Stood there in line with my graying hair along with the macho guys (them no doubt thinking that I was draining their machismo).  I'd seen it on TV and wanted to do it.

This is how it was for me.  I leapt off and closed my eyes.  Then I thought I'd paid good money for this and opened my eyes -  my whole digestive tract went into a spasm (which was probably a good thing).  The drop down was scary, but not unique, everybody falls off something.  It is the bounce.  The bounce is  perhaps the closest most of us will get to weightlessness.  That experience of floating is unique.

I don't know that I would ever do it again, but it was one of the most memorable experiences of my life.

i have an irrational fear of heights since chemo ......... i can't even lean over the mezzanine at work without feeling dizzy and panicky.  i think i need psychoanalysis  regarding this issue since it never bothered me before!

........... but you bungee away vera .......... be safe!

I did it at the CNE (think super state fair)  in Toronto, jumped off some crane.  My husband and 3 sons were onlookers,  my husband's video tape ran out just as I leapt off and a bystander said "Shit man, that's your wife?"

Francis Ford couldn't have scripted it better.

me and my hubby are thinking of the tandom skydive in the summer. my fear is, i dont really know if i am afraid of heights. i know i dont have a prob with planes but beyond that, i really havent been anywhere high enough to flip my stomach, although i believe i know "what" it would feel like to be afraid of heights. does that even make sense???

in the summers we swim at the rock quarry down the road and there is a place to jump in. its about 15 down and i get freaked about doing that, so i have to wonder if i would be able to jump from a plane or not. of course it would be different since you have to get a running start and leap outward at the quarry
