It is with a heavy heart that I tell you that Lisa passed away this evening. Her passing was peaceful and she was surrounded by her loving family. We are so sad and shell shocked at our loss, even though we had weeks to prepare. Given the circumstances, she is so better off to be at rest with the Father. It is still hard to acknowledge the loss and we miss her already. As the Pastor said this evening, "absent from the body, present with the Lord". She truly is in a better place now.

Please consider this final thought as you ponder our loss: Good will always beats evil. In this case, cancer (evil) seemingly won against good (Lisa). Upon closer look it is seen that cancer destroyed its host which was necessary for its continued survival. Lisa loses the battle but wins the war as she passes away and now enters a permanent blissful rest in heaven.

Thank you so much for your love, prayers, and support. I will use this web site to update when the memorial service will be once I know myself.

    Thanks,

    The Turners

    God is able, Stephanie

    For Lisa Turner

Holiday partings strike deep in our soul

Painful departures almost too much to hold

Husband who looses his closest best friend

Hoping to see her one time more around the bend

Children so precious without their dear Mom

Frightened and speechless where there use to be calm

Friends who do weep, tears flowing like streams

Keeping their lost dear ones so close in their dreams

Lisa we miss you, Angel that you be

Slowly and painfully we give you up to Thee

    Amen

    Tender

I am so sorry to hear about this. So young. She will always live on through her children. I lost my mom to bc 15 mnths ago but I am a lot older. I was able to have my mom at my wedding, the birth of my kids. I will be praying for her children.

Sad to hear of another young sister losing her battle.  God must be in need of many angels up in the heavens because there have been so many deaths in the past couple of months.  I don't understand why young mothers are taken from their children.  It's not fair.

My condolences to Lisa's family.  God be with you during this difficult time and may He grant you peace.

As the light of our life dims it make The Light breaking into our world all the more meaningful. I know that this is a dark and difficult time for all of you. But I pray that the Light of the Advent will be all the more present and precious to you in the coming days.

I am so sad at reading this. My prayers are with your family. The picture of Lisa and her children were beautiful.....I always remember her by that picture. I wish I knew her in real life.....such a beautiful smile.

    I pray
    Today
    That God will bring you
    Peace
    Where there’s been pain
    Harmony
    Where there’s been discord
    Love
    Where there’s been loneliness

    I pray
    Today
    That God will bring you
    Solace
    Where there’s been sorrow
    Justice
    Where there’s been inequality
    Clarity
    Where there’s been chaos

    I pray
    Today
That He will heal your human heart
    and help you face tomorrow
    With a renewed sense of
    Courage
    Strength
    And wisdom.

This is so so sad and unfair . . .  I just pray that God will hold this family in the palm of His hand and give them all of the love and comfort that can be given.
