Amoena Bras

Just wondering if anyone has tried the new Amoena bra, I think they call it the "Leila". They advertise it as a T-shirt bra, with the stretch foam cups. I had the stretch foam bras before my single mastectomy, and they did a good job of covering those "cold" moments! Wanted to get some opinions on it, before attempting to order one. The regular non-mast bras I've tried with the stretch foam don't really cover the form, so I've already ruled out that option. I might also try the ABC petite T-shirt bra, but I'm afraid it might not cover the form either, so any input would be greatly appreciated!

I'm sorry you're having a problem with the bras. Since my bilateral, I've only worn Amoena and am pleased. My latest purchase is "Annabell" and am pleased with it also. Do you go to a certified fitter? We have a place in my area with a CF and she is terrific and really knows her work. Wishing you good luck in your quest for the perfect bra.

I have the ABC petite T-shirt bra and I love it. It's the first mast bra that I actually like. I have an old Amoena contact light form that doesn't stick anymore, and I use that in the pocket (with the backing on the form). I sometimes use an Amoena 126 leisure form in the pocket instead. I'm a 34 A/B, and this is the best mast bra I have found, and believe me I have looked for years! If you are petite, I would strongly recommend trying it. Go to a fitter and if you like it, get one there, but also look online. If it's cheaper on line, get more that way. I found that my fitter was actually cheaper than online! Also, my insurance pays for 4 a year! Good luck in your search!

I've seen the ABC bra on-line, and was considering ordering it, as none of the shops stock it. A local shop carries the regular ABC t-shirt bra, but the strap is thick and irritates my port. It also digs into the top of my shoulder for some reason. The only problem I might have with the petite bra is how well it will cover the form. I certainly seem to be smaller framed than the women that mast bras are designed for! I'm a 36 A/B, so I hear ya, OLB!
My insurance only pays for 2 a year, which I already have. Plus they only cover about $22 if you buy a bra that isn't specifically covered. I did find a regular Warner's bra on sale for $15 that gives really good coverage, and is comfortable and cute - and the strap doesn't hit my port. So I'll be ordering some sew-in pockets.
