It has been super crazy around my house the past 3 days.  I haven't had much down time so I am wipped out by the time I get to chill.  I just so glad things are finally starting to look good and the focus is more on doing rather then just being, atleast thats for today, gotta remember the 24 hr rule!  Hugs to you all!!!!

June - I got them and not sure I like the new format.  In all fairness to the Mods, I will give it a chance.

Hope the thread being quiet is just everyone being busy.  Hopefully with non-cancer stuff.  I had to move my daughter home from university and working on support arrangements for youngest who will be going in the fall (updating her audiological assesments, etc.).

Saw BS today.  Feels we should wait a couple of months more post rads to do follow-up MRI.  Pre-op MRI showed something on other side and as my primary cancer was mixed at higher risk for another primary(hopefully tamox will help cut this risk as well as distant recur).  So will do it probably around same time as my post rad mamo.  Said will get better read with the two combined. Will probably need yearly MRIs too.  Feeling a little better now that I understand more.  I think they just didn't want to burden me with too much info when making decisions about primary.

Hope everyone is well and having a good week.

Wow my tamox eyes are getting a little tired quickly with these new colours.

bgirl you have such a great attitude about this, wish I did.....yes the new colors are horrible however I feel the print is a little clearer and not everybody profile pics so distorted.....

Well only home from the BS about 2 hrs and get a phone call.  Apparently on a second review they want to do 6 month MRI from post op MRI at soonest possible date.  Will do a direct comparison and then set up follow-up MRIs to coordinate with mamos in the future.

Thanks for the vote of confidence June.  Most of the time do ok, but have my days.  Also am learning to accept what may be, but also get crazy when my family, etc. think that as I didn't do chemo and am done rads that it is over.  Other than the tamox that drives me crazy at times with SEs I can't do much to change what may be.  Just try to do what I can to catch it early again.  I understand your worry with your grade of DCIS.  The uncertainty is the hardest part of this journey.

Kim go for it any excuse to shop works for me......congrats on one week behind you!!

JoJo love the pic......we all know our bodies and if you feel you are not right chances ar you are not.  I have had stomach problems for a year and so far they did and endoscopy and a ct scan and all is fine but the funny thing about this is I am NOT FINE.....I have been having huge stomach issues every day and it is frustrating to hear there is nothing more for then to do for me.  June 18th I have my 3 month follow up for being off the Tamox and i am heavily weighing on staying off it.......I hate having to make these decisions with my life but my quality of life is soooo important to me.

Still a rainy day here and hopefully it will be done by tomorrow.  We were in desperate need of rain, but 2 weeks straight and I am all done.....

     Happy Thursday ladies......hugs to all!

jojo welcome and yes listen to your body.  No one knows it better than you.  When I have ignored what my body is saying to me is the times I regret the most.

Kim and Tink go for it girls with the shopping.  I am in need of some retail therapy myself.  Maybe soon I can always sneak in a shopping trip when I go to my Dr appts.

June hate that you are still having stomach issues.  I know trying to decided to stay off of T is a big decision.  I went through that this last time when I got off of it.  Decided to give it one more try and the funny thing is I am not having all the bad SE's that I had before.  I know I have only been back on it a little over two weeks and I know that I can still have SE's but maybe I will be lucky this time.

When I went off of Tamoxifen this time I decided I was not going to get back on my celebrex unless I started having SE's and needed it.  So far I have not had to take it.  I took the prilosec for three days and then stopped to see how my stomach would react and I have ben fine.  Since my BMX I have not had any nerve breast pain like before so my MO has put me on a weaning off schedule for my Elavil.  I also decided to start trying this week to get off of Lunesta. I am taking Melatonin.  The first couple of nights it was rough but I sleep really good last night and with no vivid dreams.  So hopefully I am on the right track to get rid of some of these meds. MO was happy that I was so determined to get rid of some of this but he also said if you need them don't put yourself in misery. I told him fine but if I was miserable enough to need them we would have the talk about me getting off of Tamoxifen and he said that was a fair disussion to have.  So far so Good.
