A friend sent me an email about a special report that is appearing on the NBC News w/Brian WIlliams next week. It will take a look at the issues facing African-American women across our nation in a new series called "African-American Women: Where They Stand." It is supposed to cover a wide-range of issues, but Wednesday, Dr. Nancy Snyderman will discuss our increased risks for breast cancer.

I think this is a wonderful thread ladies, I live in Ohio and my mother has  bc and was dx'd in December of 2005 with Stage 4 bc with mets to liver and bone and she still works. She is my rock! I will make sure I watch this.

OK - tonight was about education (some of those numbers were staggering!!), but it looks like the breast cancer segment will be on TUESDAY, not Wednesday...
