You know what really irks me?
I have been following tmz for laughs and what people with too much money do. The Britney saga is absolutely ridiculous! Her is a very young lady who has the world at her feet. More money than she would ever need in a lifetime. Two beautiful children. Lots of resources to give them a wonderful life. And what does she do with all this? Throw it away! She drives without a license, losses her children because of her wanting to party and live a carefree and careless lifestyle. She continually is embarrassing herself in public, driving and texting, running over photographers and escorts, partying, failing court ordered drug tests, wearing outfits that are not suitable for her current size (just because they make an outfit in your size does not mean you should wear it in public) and the embarrassments just never end.
We fight daily for our lives! To live and be here for our children! We treasure each moment we get to live and treasure them even more when we feel good enough to enjoy these moments. We struggle as to how we can pay our medical bills and live on disability. And for some how to force themselves to work everyday because they cannot afford to try and live on disability and no health insurance.
It is a sad state this world lives in when some that are so privileged and yet throw so much away so easily. I am sure it is not easy living in the limelight, your every move watched. But that is a life she chose and to disregard it like a spoiled child! I would like to take her to live in my world for just a few days. Maybe some awareness from these idiots would help gain help for our struggles.
Ahh.....just having a bad pain day (not cancer related pain so I am not complaining) and needed to vent some anger...... grrrrrr....

LuAnn,
I totally agree with every thing you said. It is ridiculous. Not only is she embarrassing herself, what is she doing to those boys???? They need a mom. Like you said I live every day for my son. When I got diagnosed he was the one that kept me going. I told everyone, there was no way someone else would raise him. People like her make my skin crawl. And what you said about having them live a day in your shoes. Absolutely!!!
I hope your day gets better:)

Children are only little a short time.
I know that she'll come to regret her self-centeredness as her children grow away from her.
I think time is much more precious than any of us ever realize.

I hope you are feeling better (pain wise). Hoping the holiday season will bring some happiness in your life. I know that cute baby will!!!!

I remember when I was in the hospital for my mast and found out my dx, and the Brad and Jennifer split was all over the magazines. I just hated Brad!
It isn't fair, she is a spoiled brat. How sad is her life that she doesn't realize what she is throwing away? What I would give to slap her with a dose of reality.

Luann,
I'm with ya, sister! I get more and more disgusted with people and their prurient interests. Since when do "legitmate" news sources like CNN and the big three networks consider this crap newsworthy? If I hear one more story about these young women checking into a revolving-door "rehab" clinic, I will vomit. REAL rehab centers don't allow that sort of thing.
Did you hear how Paris Hilton wants to adopt the cause against alcoholic elephants? OMG!!! Maybe we should get together and write some of these young ladies asking for donations. I do know that Britney Spears lost an aunt to BC a while back.
I used to feel sorry for some of these girls--how they have no privacy with the paparazzi and tabloids. Now, they just disgust me because so many of them are really just playing for the cameras and media outlets.
AGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Well, one of the things I read on her detailed her monthly spending. She donated a total of $50 a month to a charity in an average month, yet spent $4,200 on fast food (mcdonalds, taco bell, wendys, etc) on an average month. I wouldn't be able to walk through my front door if I ate that much fast food in a month!!! Just shows the mentality that influences our children.
-
That's an awful lot of nachos bell grande.
$50 a month! That is just deplorable.

Don't mean to be disrespectful of anyone's opinion, but I believe alot of what we read has been created by publicists to keep these celebs in the news. Britney is doing this stuff because she *knows* the paparazzi is going to follow her and take her picture and she'll stay in the news. Same with Paris Hilton (although she's calmed down a bit since being in jail -- people were becoming fed up with her). Plus, she does NOT WANT those children, her behavior makes that obvious.
But please, take whatever you read in the news with a grain of salt. Everyone involved is in it together: the celebrities, their publicists (who are the masterminds and tell them what to do, where to go, what to say, etc.), the media, ALL of them. Any publicity is good publicity and behaving outrageously is the rage right now. Believe me if they didn't want you to know the things being printed about them, they have enough money to keep it out of the tabs. Remember the old saying "believe half of what you hear and none of what you see?"
These people aren't worth typing about, and the only reason I'm doing it is because I don't want you or anyone else wasting their precious time on these people. They ain't worth it.
Hope you're feeling better.
