Breast cancer recurrence more likely in black women

Just wondered what you thought of this research. It's not exactly new to me. I just wonder about it and how it fits in with those of us who are triple neg but are not black.

    Hi Ravdeb,

    I just wanted to bump this back up. I was wondering the same thing when I read that article. Maybe someone on here has read additional research and can answer the question.

    Okay..I'm bumping my question back up. I was wondering if black women with triple neg actually have a more aggressive form of the disease or is it that black women tend to be triple neg and it's the same as for other women with triple neg? I ask this because as I read information about this I wonder if I can apply it to myself.

    Hi Ravdeb,

    It's my understanding that young black women tend to have triple negative breast cancer and the information we find can apply to us.
