Harolds really encourages sharing since their portion are so large!  Sandwiches even come with extra bread for just that reason.

    Patti-Matti is welcome to come.

I have made reservations for 12 people-the more the merrier!

Please remind everyone on the chat that it is this weekend!

Really looking forward to it.  What a wonderful way to start the holiday season.

    Light and love

HI Everyone, I am sorry to say that I won't be able to make it afterall. I am very disappointed since I had such a great time at our first outing. Hopefully, we will continue our get-togethers and I will see you all at the next one.  Carol

    Hi Ladies,

I guess I'm the lucky one - I live about 20 minutes away from Harold's.  I actually work in the area and have been there several times.  Just an FYI- since their portions are HUGE, they can be pricey.  I think their Cesears Salad is about $25.00. BUT, it can feed at least 2 if not 3 people. They have eclairs for dessert that are the size of footballs!!! Just thought I'd let you know what your in for. LOL.

It can also be a little tricky to find.  Just look for the signs for Raritan Center and take that road.  Its across from the Fedex building and down the street from the Sheraton.

Can't wait to meet all of you - are we all wearing something pink???

    See you then,

    Valerie

Just thought I'd let you know to look for the Holiday Inn - Harold's is right in front of it facing Rt514.

Valerie thanks for posting that pic so quickly!  Of course since you posted the one that YOU took, the picture does not include you! Hmmmmmm camera shy are we?

I also had a great time...it was so wonderful meeting you all.  This message board has been such a wonderful source of support for me, but you can not replace the power of a face to face meeting like we had yesterday.

It was a very special day....can not wait to do it again!

Valerie-another thanks for getting the picture posted.  We still need one with KLynn and you in it!

Candie-we are all so proud of you for driving to see us.  It really warmed my heart!

It was my pleasure to help to organize this- I got so much back from each of you- your love, support and prayers, it was the least I could do.

What a special group of women we are!  I loved how open we were and how we talked openly about such personal topics in such a public place-do you think anyone listened?  I know the other tables looked at us- but that was because of the GIANT ECLAIR, not our boobs!

You are special friends and I really look forward to seeing you all again.

If you dont mind 2 big Golden Retrievers- we could meet at my house any time!

    Light and love

Hi Everyone,   Our friend Carol needs our prayers, she had her hysterectomy last Wed. and had some complications. She is still in the hospital. I heard from her today, but she has tubes in her kidney and bladder, and could really use our prayers and good thoughts. She was missed at the last get together, and I look forward to seeing her and the rest of you again after the holidays. Thanks and hugs to all ---KLynn * Karen*

Oh argh  I hate it when I hear that someone is suffering like that.  Sending postive healing thoughts for sure.  My friend that I told you guys about at lunch who was in the hospital because of a cardiac episode appears to be responding to the medications.  Her ejection fraction is improving and she is up on her feet.  We are hoping she will be home by the end of the week.

Patti, that's terrible that the doc thought you were asking too many questions!!! You should be able to ask all you want...it is YOUR health. Phooey to that Dr.

I had my colonoscopy and endoscopy done yesterday. Dr found 3 polyps in my colon--so he got rid of them. 1 polyp in my esophagus and a hiatel hernia. I have to see him in two weeks for results of the testing done on polyps and what we will do about the hernia. Great, I get to be nervous for another 2 weeks....it just stinks sometimes, doesn't it.

Have a good nite's sleep, my friends.

    Hugs and prayers,

    Candie

Hi to all my NJ friends,

Carol- how are you doing?  we have all been praying for you.

I have not been on chat much lately-I am in the middle of changing jobs-had a few interviews in Manhattan, holiday parties, etc.  All good things.  I will start a new job on Jan 15 so I am gearing up to starting to work hard again!

Hope you are all well and I want to wish everyone a very Happy Holiday Season and a HEALTHY New Year.

    Love

Hi All, It has been a fiasco. I went for a hysterectomy which was supposed to be prophylactic. They perforated my bladder during the procedure and then sewed my ureter to it. I started to go into kidney failure. I was sent home with a foley catheter and a nephrostomy tube to drain my kidney. I have finally gotten ride of the foley but still have the kidney tube. The whole thing just stinks because I have to go for corrective surgery now. My appointment with a respected Urologist at Robert Wood Johnson is the 28th. I am really hoping that everything can be repaired.

Thanks everyone for thinking of me and thank you for the prayers. Hopefully i'll get to meet you all at the next get together. Have a very Merry Christmas! Carol

    Carol,

My gosh...hope you are feeling better. Prayers are with you.

I went for my follow up to colonoscopy and endoscopy. One of the colon polyps was pre-cancer. Thank God, I had it done!!! Endo was ok, just a hiatel hernia that they gave me meds for. Yeah-more pills to take-lol. I have to have colonoscopy every 3 years. so glad my Dr's insisted that I do this. Merry Christmas to all!!

    Hugs and prayers,

    Candie

A colonopscopy is on my do-to list of next year too. I know it's something important to have done ... just not looking forward to it.

Also wanted to let you ladies know (though you probably know already), there's going to be a Susan B. Komen Race (for me Walk), in New Jersey in May.  I put up a note in the Walks category:

Hope you're all doing well and can enjoy the holidays.
