    Hi everyone!

I apologize for dropping off the face of the earth for a while. It's been a blur for the past few months. My father-in-law was diagnosed with metastic gastric cancer and was given a year even with chemo. That, and my loaned laptop had to be returned. I've missed you guys!

CONGRATULATIONS to everyone who has finished their chemo treatments!!! I finished mine in February and have moved on to rads. I'm in my third week and it's a BREEZE compared to chemo. I'm still awaiting the return of my hair and fingernails, but I feel SOOOOOOO much better each and every day.

For those of you who are still in treatment, hang in there. I'm sending hugs and good wishes your way! You can do it!

    (((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))))))))

It is a good feeling to be done with chemo; no more of the dreaded ses. Now on to whatever the next phase is, I find out this week if I will be doing rads or not. I will be taking tamoxifen for sure. I'm pretty apprehensive about that one also.

It's nice to see some familiar postings again. Best wishes to everyone as they complete or get close to completing the chemo. You have all been such a blessing to me!

Congratulations to us all ... we're getting there. I finished my last chemo cocktail on February 28 and now the side effects have begun to fade and I keep telling my body - it's okay, no more poison !!!

I will begin 30 treatments of radiation on March 31. Yes, everyone is telling me that compared to chemo, radiation will be a breeze. I sure hope so. Got my tattooes - no problem, they look like a freckle and if you didn't know there were there - hardly noticeable. After having gone through all this - you'd think they could offer a rose or something !!!

I look forward to seeing hair ... my eye lashes are gone, my eye brows are almost non-existent. My head hair is just enough that can be rubbed - not even 1/4 inch and it's kinda like dryer lint if that makes sense. Folks tell me that it will come in darker than before and should be wavy -that would be nice. So, while I have coped pretty well without hair, now that it's return is "within" the coming weeks, I'm very very anxious to see ...

Keep up the good work everyone ... we're nearing the finish line.
