How do you clean your mushrooms? My sister says never clean in water because the shrooms soak it up, she brushes hers off. I cannot bring myself to do that.

Paulette, sadly, I'm so lazy I usually just brush visable dirt off shrooms w/my fingers.
But I have read it's nice to wipe their little shroomy faces with a lightly damp cloth or paper towel.
Sis is right-they shouldnt be rinsed.
