    Chris,

You are right - I forgot - the Arimidex. I asked the onc if I could discontinue it for a month or so during rads and she said no. I would have liked to see what my hair was like then.  It is kind of like adding insult to injury, lose the hair with chemo, hope it returns, thin it with this awful arimidex.  What can you do?

The onc's nurse told me biotin doesn't work, but I will keep trying it anyway!

Joanne, I was told to use the 5% minoxodil (generic Rogaine) too, that the 2% was useless (at least in my situation).   I was told that by my onc and by a dermatologist.

    Cynthia,

I am not as flexible either, but I pushed it and am in trouble with mast side arm and pectoral. Take it easy. I had just finished chemo and did have a little lymphedema, but I was determined to regain flexibility to my detriment. Using Alieve etc. Also on aromasin so ache as well. Beth

    Janet,

Your hair looks good in your picture, are you satisified with it now? I will check back with the onc, but I do have a bald spot which isn't great, but of course in the grand scheme of bc, if this is the worst I would be pretty happy!

    Joanne
