Hi everyone,

I'm new to the board and newly diagnosed.  I need some advise from anyone who's been in a similar situation.  I was diagnosed in July and had a left breast mastectomy in September.  This is my second cancer diagnosis...I had Hodgkin's when I was 19 and was treated with radiation.  I'm 31 now, married and was on the verge of starting a family.  We lost our son earlier this year at 23 weeks.

I'll be starting AC chemo shortly, since radiation and hormone therapy are not treatment options available to me, but still need to decide whether to follow through with IVF or not.  I was also offered the option of taking Lupron, but there is not a lot of information available.  Has anyone taken Lupron and what was your experience with this drug?

You have been thru alot for someone so young.

I don't have any answers for you, but just my heartfelt hugs and support.

I am sure someone can answer your questions. Have you been to the hormone treatment thread?
