Get Involved! Easy Ways to Help.

Options

EVERYBODY - We can all get involved in quick and easy ways that can help. As October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month, help your community by volunteering, supporting research at your universities and labs, and donate to organizations that matter to you. I donated to my favorite BC organizations at Respectance, which has no service charge (thank goodness), and I am also hoping to help at a local organization with volunteering on Fridays. This is my way of helping ...Everyone has their own way. The point is: Let the world know how much we care!

I am volunteering at the Avon Breast Cancer Walk tomorrow in NYC. I will be one of the many people registering the walkers. The more we all do our part, the more we help one another.  There is pink everywhere right now...the more people see it...maybe they will donate more. Have a good nite!!

The local Wig Bank is moving to new facilities and talking about opening up with volunteers a couple of evenings a week. I am going  on the list of volunteers.  I also crochet fuzzy wiggies for the bank to give to people who have lost hair due to chemo.

I'm a match counselor with Y-Me.  I talk with others who have a similar situation to mine.  There are soooo many ways that we can volunteer.
