The other day my mom went to a doctors appointment and found out she has precancerous cells in her left breast and she also has a place that dosen't look right behind those precancerous cells but her doctor is taking her time to set up another appointment to check that place out.  She has had one biopsy and this time they are going to do this second one as out patient biopsy.  The doctor is taking her time getting back with my mother on the second biopsy.  How concerned should I be.  How worrried should I be about the precancerous cells.

I don't have any information, but I want to encourage you to stay real close to yoru mom and let her know all the time that you are there to support her. I think that a lack of constant reassurance might have had an adverse effect on my Mom's attitude towards treatment etc.
