I know that you said that show, GayUSA, comes on on Saturdays (@7:30pm?), but I don't think I get it...what channel is it on?

It's on pbs but you can see it online too. You might get it at a different time. It's really opened my eyes to some of the issues we face that I wasn't even aware of -like how we need to be inclusive of transgendered in our advocacy for legistlation.   The link should be on that other thread. Ann Northrop is great as is Andy Humm.

Marin, do you know it's coming on at 9:00 on sundays, not 10:00? I have other favorites at that time so I'll probably catch it on demand monday mornings.

Amy....Did you read on ourchart that their streaming broadcast will be censored???! I realize that it needs to be so due to the various regulations guiding them, but no thanks, I'll wait for the real, unabridged version on 1/6!

OMG- I totally missed that. It's total BS-- regulations? Puh-lease- it's not like there's anything in the show that isn't PG (except for the occasional nude scene Tongue out). This pisses me off on so many levels- I hate censorship.

I agree. I hate censorship too! Did I tell you that my daughter did some readings for an event during the National Anti-Book-Banning Week (or something like that)? They had various people in the arts read from (previously) banned books. I was working, but would have liked to have attended.

But back to The L Word....it seems, from brief previews, that Jenny (ugh!) isn't dead or lost after all! I was hoping she was gone forever....what a psycho!

Just like a soap opera-- no one is ever really dead....

Did you see the list of previously banned books? Scary isn't it? http://onlinebooks.library.upenn.edu/banned-books.html

Wow...amazing what has been banned! I guess the "funniest" was Black Beauty, banned by the South Africa apartheid regime. Now that's far-fetched!

I can't wait either. I'm going to start a new thread for season five since this one had been all over the map! I got an email from OurChart about watching the download. To quote a president I didn't vote for, not gonna do it.
