New family of drugs offers Hope for breast cancer patients

    I got the new City of Hope magazine today and there is an article (title above in under subject) which talks about a new family of drugs and one in particular, Vorinostat, which is in a phase II clinical trial to treat breast cancer. 

    I will quote the study's principal investigator, Dr. Thehang Luu, M.D.  "We hope that this and other HDAC inhibitors can provide a novel treatment option as part of a combination therapy - especially for women with triple-negative breast cancer."

    Just thought you ladies would apprecitate this information.
