Taking Xeloda and Zometa

Hello all...I'm new to this phenomenal source of information and I desperately need your assistance.  My mother, 73 years old, was diagnosed with stage IIIB IBC in 2004 and has gone through Chemo, a mastectomy, Radiation, Arimidex.  She was Cancer free for a short while in 2005.  It then metastisized to her bone area in 2006and she has a spot on her lung.  Earlier this year, she was prescribed a low dosage of Xeloda and has been having monthly infusions of Zometa.  She's weak but was still able to get around and go about her daily routines with minimal discomfort.  For the last two weeks, she's felt listless and unable to get out of bed.  Her appetite which was once very good, has been reduced greatly.  She complains of excruciating pain in her legs and asked to be taken to the emergency room last week.  Today, she asked my sister to take her to the emergency room again because she just couldn's seem to shake her nausea, weakness, dizziness and loss of appetite.  She did manage to get a litte soup down earlier today and drank an Ensure. 

Has any one experienced these symptoms while taking these two meds?  Can it just be the side effects from both?  Does anyone have any Holistic or other suggestions as to how she can combat this feeling of listlessness and fatigue?
