help question on her2neu amplified gene

Hi,

I just recently went through breast cancer surgery. I have a bilateral mastectomy done. I also have isolated cells in my lymph nodes and found out that the cancer cell was called her2neu amplified. Can anyone tell me what type of chemo is needed for this cancer cell.  Thanks

    Head over to the her2/neu+ category of this community and you will meet a bunch of us her2+ ladies. Not sure what your chemo will be but you will be getting something to contain your her2 oncogene.

    Also, check in the research section of this site so that you can educate yourself on this one. You will find that amazing progress is being made in this area of breast cancer research!
