Orange County Race for the Cure

The Orange County (California not Florida) Race for the Cure is Sept. 23rd.  Anyone out there planning on attending?  Maybe we can set a time and place to meet.  We plan to do the walk....after the survivors function.  Our team "We Don't Run" would love to have others join us, but if already registered and wanting to meet up that would be great too.

Me and my daughter and friends are going to be there. I posted a thread under the Walks/Runs, etc forum. We're on a team already.

We should meet at the Survivor parade or maybe in the survivor tent?

We plan to do the survivor function and the walk....meeting in the tent would be good, how will we know you?  I don't think being in pink will be enough do you?

I will try to find you in the tent before the survivor parade.  I will be with another survivor and her daughter, my sons.  My oldest son is over 6 foot and fairly dark, younger is light (a little tan but not dark) and maybe 5'9.  I have grey hair (used to be red..you know the new chemo hair) and my neighbor is redhead (bottle) and daughter somewhat heavy and very blond.  We have 6 other team members, but for sure we will be a group in the tent.  I will walk around and ask for Rocktober mom.

we sure wish we were meeting up with you guys ! rather than prepping for a surgery on monday o'dark thirty ... the walk was great and make sure and take a few kleenexs lol
