SIX YEARS GIRLS
hey Triple Negs!
Today marks the six year anniversary that my doc told me I had Triple negative BC.
He told me it was the most aggressive kind and that it was not the "good" kind to get-- in fact he said it was the "bad" one.
Well, the bad one has been GONE for six years today.
I have a new primary of ER/PR ++ cancer right now--- the TRIPLE NEG did not return.
I am just a weirdo getting a totally different type of BC in the other breast.
The stat you hear about the longer you are out of your triple neg dx the greater your chances are it may NEVER return is true.
SO- don't get stuck in the ( gasp!) I HAVE THE BAD ONE!!!! trap
I thought that too.
IT CAN BE BEATEN.
And God is Able.
Love you girls,
g

Nosurrender,
If you are weird, then thank goodness for weirdos. Love youl Feeling so upset today; your words ajd gentle way always bring my heart to a peaceful garden; giving time, color, all goodness and wild dreams the chance to "dream on". You are blessed with cool summer breezes, greens and globs of blue on rainy day, golden hues and silver lines leading the way to hope as we wait for brilliant days, hours, minutes seonds. mini moments and nano pkctures in time.
Thanks;
I needed you comforting wisdom today.

Great post No Surrender -
I got a good laugh too! Congrat's on 6 yrs and no trip neg tumors!
By the way, have you looked into how common it is for a trip neg to go to er+? I knew bc could change, but thought that when it did, it usually went FROM er+ to trip neg.
Hope you're feeling well.

Thanks girls.
Apparently the change over to lobular from ductal is even more of a mystery to the doctors than the hormone receptors!

Happy 6 years out, g!
Sucks that the ILC had to sneak in there, though, but fists up just the same!
