Dancing with the Stars

Hi Ody!
Great finale .. everyone did a wonderful job tonight!
-
Nancy - so far there are two seasons, one in the spring and one in the fall. It's always been a lot of fun and very entertaining.
-
Wow!!!! The BEST dancers DID win afterall!!! Jennifer and Derek got the Mirrorball. I think they said this is the first time someone (Derek) has won it 3 times! I am so thrilled for Jennifer. I do hope we will get to see her dance again.
-
Hi Bren. I loved it. Christina Aguilera was awesome. She has a great voice. I also enjoyed seeing everyone return for another performance.
-
A highly satisfactory ending...so glad that Jennifer won! Hopefully, next season will be less controversial.
Happy Holidays to all!
-
Nancy, hope you can still enjoy the finale. Incidentally, mine was not the first post to name the winners.
-
junie, I saw that first post and I have enjoyed every minute. I am so tired tonight I should have given up an hour ago but I'm still here to the end.
-
Yay! The best one won!
-
What a relief! Now on to the next season. Please,no retired, current or potential politicians.
-
Amen to that Jess!!!!!
-
I really enjoyed the season finale! Everyone did their best; and I really enjoyed Brandi's quickstep. glad she rec'd a standing ovation afterwards.
-
Nancy - Here is a simple suggestion to keeping the element of surprise - don't read this thread until you've seen the finale.
Last night's show had all the fun and glamour as previous seasons. I appreciate they kept all the chananigans out of the dance floor. I'm still in shock that Jennifer ruptured a vertebrae and still was able to dance. Wow---she showed us that the show must go on. True Winner!!!!
-
Kira = sorry you are sad. Don't dish it out if you can't eat it. Hard to do on national holiday devoted to eating, I know
Happy THanksgiving

Ladies, I apologize for jumping the gun and posting the winner on here right after the show went off. I was just soooo excited to see Jennifer and Derek win! From now on, I will control myself and not post until the next day so that our westcoast members can learn from their tv and not me. That was like my telling who won a football game before others got to see it. Thank goodness this wasn't a ballgame!
-
Medigal; don't feel badly. I read play-by-play blogs all the time (NY Giant's home football games) and they are always in real time!
-
Medigal - don't feel bad and don't stop posting when you are excited. Remember, the west coast ladies have the choice of not reading this thread if they want to keep the element of surprise. This thread is meant for us to have fun and posting when you are excited is the very purpose this thread keeps going over the years. We are all adults and can chose what we want and when.
-
Medigal, I second what Odalys just said. And yes I'm literally on the west coast and yes I read your post before I saw the show. Didn't bother me at all.
-
Ladies: You are ALL a bunch of sweethearts for being so kind about my over-action. Thanks so much for not being ticked off at me. Have a great evening!
-
Sherri: Ok, that DOES it for me! If they really put Todd Palin on DWTS, it will be the last time I watch it. IMO, the Palins will do "anything" to be on camera and if Todd says "Yes" we get to see more of unbeloved Sarah whether we want to or not. The show really now seems to be all about publicity and not really for dancing. That is so sad because I used to enjoy watching it. Between now and 2012 Sarah is going to find any and all ways to be on camera and there is such a thing as "overkill" in my book. Sure the producers want her husband because they know the entire furor will start all up again and the "circus comes to town via tv!" Not for me! Thanks for sharing.
-
I'm with you, they are using politics just to boost ratings. It was good to see someone with no dancing or entertainment experience going all the way to the finals but really, I don't want to see a political person in there again.
-
This is the first season I didn't finish watching the show. Last season Kate Gosselin was just painful top watch and this season, none of the participants interested me. I just don't enjoy the show without Julianne Hough. Her brother is gorgeous and fun but she really had the great dance routines that were fun to watch.
-
Time to bring this thread back. No politicians so I can watch it!!! Yay!!!!
-
When does it start
-
March 21st, but they announced the stars yesterday. I swore if there was a politician or relative of a politician on this season, I would not watch. I think a lot of folks felt the same way - no politicians!!
-
So funny... I love Dancing with the stars. I am going to look up the line up. Can't wait
-
So happy to find this thread. I'm ready....
-
Hello ladies. Time to dust off those dancing shoes. I too am glad there are no politicians. Not sure how much of Kristy Ally I will be able to take....
-
My son wants to see Kristy Ally voted off first, I would like to see the playmate voted off first.
Sheila
-
I'll wait to see how they dance but somehow I have difficulty picturing Kristy in a lift.
-
I'll miss Derek too. He didn't seem pleased with all the shenanigans from last season. So what do you guys think about Maksim pairing with Kristie Allie? Talk about huge egos colliding...
