Avastin, anyone?

Hi.

I`m postig for a 27 year-old cousin of mine recently diagnosed about 2 months ago with stage 3 IBC. She just had her first chemo a week ago.

I ignore the chemo medication they`re giving her, but doctors tell her she`ll know if her chemo is working or not right after the second one.

We`ve just been informed by the doctors thre's this new very succesfull medication, Avastin, clinical trial proved to increase succes rates in chemotherapy for women with breast cancer.

Has anyone tried it? I`d appreaciate any help. Thanks.

I was diagnosed at stage 4 ibc with mets to liver.was cancer free for 4 months after chemo,rads double mast and more chemo.then it came back in my liver very bad,was given 2 months to live if the chemo didnt work.was started on avastin and abraxine and immediatly the tumors started to shrink there were 12 initially.six weeks after treatment there were 7.Now I have been NED since may and i owe it to the avastin and abraxene.they are both fairly new and from what my onc told me are working miracles.
