pain near kidney area

Hi all,
I have felt this little pain on and off to the left side of my stomach but a little to the back. I am planning on seeing a doctor, but I am not sure what it could be. I have been taking selenium, zinc, iron and vitamin d. Could any of these be causing it? your opinion is appreciated. thanks

Off and on I have been having discomfort too. On my right side it is a little achey when I apply pressure.It feels like it's in my back. Also, on my right side I have been having aches maybe in my liver area.

I am beginning to feel like the boy who cried wolf! I have had a few scares over the past few years. I feel like I need to keep quiet about it because so far they have been false alarms. It feels as though I upset my family and friends when I worry them. I would have it checked. Maybe it's a mild infection? Have you had any changes in how often you are urinating? For your peace of mind have it checked.

Hi Lexi, It is hard sometimes because when we complain of something, cancer comes into their minds so quickly. I am trying to keep it to myself until I see a doctor. I am hoping for a sonogram. Thanks

One more thing: I was taking some vitamins, vitamin d, iron, selenium, zinc and I stopped taking them for now. I feel though, that the Rolaids (antacid) that I was taking is the one doing some damage to the kidneys so I stopped that too.
