Marathon for breast cancer

I came across this in one of my fitness/running newsletters and thought I'd share. I don't do marathons, but know that there are several of you hearty women out there. It claims to be the only marathon whose entire proceeds go to breast cancer causes:

    Hey Marin,

    I registered for this one ( the half marathon ) ! There is a half marathon option and the cutoff is very generous, I wish we had a group that we could put together from the site.

    Any takers? I would be more than happy to share some training plans via email, you do not need to run it just power walk it.

     There are 4 whole months to train ! The hotels are almost full but there are others which still have room that are not on the site.

    C'mon gals ! If you can walk at 3 mph speed on the dreadmill you can do this  ! We will have so much fun.
