Hi Ladies. I haven't been here in a few months. My biopsy has healed very well. I will be going in a few weeks now for reduction surgery on the 23rd of Aug.-the day after my 50th birthday.
I have a question that I'm hoping someone will be able to answer for me. I remember a few months ago reading a few posts where someone suggested a website that was a type of forum for all kinds of breast health/surgery questions. I had it saved in my favorites and then it somehow got deleted. I can't for the life of me remember what it was called. It was a very good site with a lot of helpful people on it including experts to answer questions.
If anyone out there knows what I'm talking about, I'd really appreciate it.
Hoping all is well with everyone. I still remember everyone in my prayers every day. This site has beens such a blessing to me.
Love, hugs and prayers. Keepin' the faith...Dawn

Dawn, I'm sorry that I don't know the website you're looking for but someone will come along that probably will. I just posted because I had a breast reduction. I'd hated my huge breasts all my life and as we grow older they begin to....well you know. I had mine done with my second lumpectomy and they removed 9 lbs of breast. My back feels so much better and I find myself copping a feel once in awhile just cause it's so much better. Good luck.

    Hi Dawn -
Might this be the website you are looking for?

    http://www.breasthealthonline.org/cgi-bin/mwf/forum_show.pl

I had a reduction on one side to match the TRAM I had on my mast side. The reduction was a very easy surgery (for me anyway). I LOVE having smaller breasts!

    Good luck to you!!

Thanks so much ladies! I FINALLY remembered the other day-breasthealthonline. Thanks Moonie and everyone else for wracking my brain. I am so excited, but I have to decide if I can do it on the 23rd or wait until next year. I babysit for teachers kids and have summers off. Unfortunately the PS I saw way back in May did not get the insurance submitted until a month ago so my surgery is cutting it kind of close to the time I will have to be watching kids again. The big question for me for the PS is will I be able to care for a 2 month old baby 2 wks post op. If not, SIGHHHH, I will have to wait until next summer which I will be very disappointed if I have to. I know from what I've read and what I know from other's experiences it is very important not to lift or overdo for at least 2 weeks. I will probably have to wait and will be really bummed out, but I guess I don't want to take a chance and be sorry.
Thanks again for the input. You ladies are the best!
